I previously vowed to never have another tattoo after my first one, but since meeting Johnny I have four more and we are working on the design for number five. I cannot say enough good things about this place. My husband and I have both had work done by Johnny and he is amazing. I went to KiKi for my first tattoo. His booth was clean and organized. He was very patient and reassuring. He did a test line to let me understand what level of pain to expect. He took his time but it didn't take long and the art work is great. He talked me through the aftercare and suggested a few products I could pick up at my local drug store. We just moved here and had to find a new tattoo artist. After scouring the Internet and speaking with people we came across Johnny. We choose him since he specializes in black and grey and his years of experience. My wife can not be more happy with her new art! It looks amazing. Line work and shading are impeccable. Oh I forgot to mention. During the consultation visit johnny was very patient and answered all our questions and concerns. I moved to North Carolina last year and started my search for a new artist immediately. After asking every new person I met, scouring the Internet and contacting my former artist to see if he could recommend someone here. I stumbled across a business card for Apocalypse Ink., and found Yianni "Johnny". My heart skipped a beat when I read that he specialized in black and gray and saw pictures of his work. I called the shop and made a consultation appointment.  When my husband and I met Johnny he was calm, polite, knowledgeable and respectful.  I made my appointment and held my breath that I had finally found my new shop.  Well, I had my piece done last night and am thoroughly impressed.  I highly recommend this place to anyone that is serious about the art that they want on their body.  Johnny and his team are up to any task and hold themselves to a high standard. This was my first visit to Apocalypse Ink. Shop was clean, first and foremost. Staff was comforting and warm. I finally got the privilege to meet Yianni and was thrilled by the entire tattoo process. Don't go here , he stole my money . BC he couldn't freehand on me without it looking terrible I was forced to leave mid session and gave him money to do a complete draft for my left sleeve. After I paid for a draft he told me that he wasn't going to finish the draft till it was on me. Which means its not a draft!t. All that I wanted was just a finished draft with koi fish in water, but during our session he tried doing that and it looked very bad .So after much arguing over placement and quality he ask me to put money down for he draft I want and I sat down and told him all the details and I even gave him $100 to draw a draft for a complete sleeve! When he called back he told me the same thing he said originally : he said the images weren't finished but hed finish them on me after he starts the tattoo. I literally have him on record saying this ! Now if the water is supossed to over lapp the fish how are you going to do that if the whole dang fish is already tattooed into my skin?? You can't. Duh. And the dragon that was supposed to wrap around my forearm, doesn't wrap around anything.
