I had a massive cover-up done by Barry. In total, I think the piece took 17 or so hours. That being said, I spent quite a bit of time at Hardwire. Barry did an amazing job masking a collage of old ink, awful ink, and an ex-bf tramp stamp. You get what you pay for, and I feel that the pricing was right on. Recently got a third tattoo from Scott. Very satisfied. Also, while I was getting tattooed, another employee witnessed a vehicle back into mine causing minor damage. I can proudly say that all of my tattoos have been from a Hardwire location! My first one was at the Wilmington Hardwire shop when it was on Market street 10 years ago. I got many other tattoos at the Front street Wilmington Shop over the years and have since moved about 4 hours away but I refuse to get work from any other shop. They are the cleanest I've seen and always have talented artist (and willing to help train aspiring ones)! Nate is my all time favorite artist that h...as always had the ability to turn my ideas into better masterpieces! Since I live so far away I make appointments with Nate (my fave artist) who is now at the Jacksonville Hardwire shop, come to town for a weekend & go home with my sleeve looking better & better every time!
