Set up a appointment with Scott told him what I wanted he tried touching my tattoo up he tried just the basic but he wasn't satisfied with how it looked he went above and beyond what we had planned it wasn't his work but he made it look great thanks Scott !! I went in to get a simple tattoo (no color just a face from a cartoon show) and they seemed pretty friendly and the tattooist was ready to do it immediately. Of course I had only planned to get a pricing range and set an appointment so that's just what I did. When I got there I was so nervous because it was my first time ever getting tattooed. The guy (not Scott but I wish because he has nonstop 5 star reviews) did the outline and I noticed something I didn't like but let it slide because I was too nervous to confront him. After he was done tattooing me he did not cover/bandaged it at all! Later on after it was healed I noticed that not only was there a dent in one of the faces but the lines went from thick to thin! It looked like a child had done it. My first impression of them was great but actually getting the tattoo there and their results was really disappointing. I am now currently looking into covering it up which really bums me out since I truly wanted to fall in love with my first tattoo. Read Less

I have 6 tattoos done by an artist that has since left the shop. Excluding my artist, the staff is very poor. I had a stencil done for my first tattoo by Scott, and the lines were not correct making my tattoo look like something else, which I get commented on all the time. Now I will have to spend more money to get it covered up and fixed. To see the way the staff has been bashing the artist that has left, is pretty pathetic. If you're coming to the shop for a good tattoo in a positive environment, do not come here. As a client, I will not be returning and I have followed my artist to his new store. Read Less

Great Tattoo shop. Feel very at home there. I have utilized artists from Texas to South Carolina. Todd Laney and Jackie Smith are my two artist at "The Cave" and they are amazing. Scott only employees artists like these two. My middle daughter got her first tattoo at the shop. John Read Less
