My best friend and I stopped in to get tattoos. Chris Merker did an AWESOME job on both our tattoos! He was extremely profession and accommodating! tattoo "artist" Russell is not the person to go to! He did my tattoo and two weeks later , the whole tattoo is pretty much gone! I called to make an appointment for him to fix mine and he tries to charge me for his mistakes. He's not very professional .. especially when your trying to argue with me on the phone. Read Less

Got my very first tattoo here and I couldn't be happier. I was extremely nervous, and had no idea what to expect. Brian talked me through the process and was extremely accommodating. I asked if I could tweak the design from the original if sent, and he changed it with no problem. The space is immaculate - super clean and organized. I had a horrible experience at this place...to start I walked in, checked out some of the artist binders laying around. I started to really like one artists work. So I request to speak to them. I was told to wait about 30 minutes because they where finishing up a tattoo, awesome I caught the man in action, so I waited patiently and eager. So the tattoo artist finally comes out to speak with me with possible tattoo ideas. At this point I was a kid in a candy store explain...ing like 6 different ideas. He helps me narrow it down to one idea. Talks me into a deposit, I pay gladly. We exchanged numbers and set up a date. He seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and was excited I let him add his own flare to it...that was the best part of this whole ordeal, the up front customer service was outstanding then it turned for the worst...a few days go by and I get a text from my artist saying he is done with the drawing if I would like to go in and see it (this was late at night). I said sure I will be there tomorrow. I get there at the set time, he is busy with another customer, okay cool I'll wait. Waited 3 hours for him to come out and tell me he forgot it at his house, when on his first meet he said he can only work on work stuff at work, awkward moment of a brief lie. So I brushed it off still eager to get a new tattoo. We set up another meeting time and I make it to the store, but it had snowed so the store was closing early and he was no where to be found. So I text my artist. Yet again we set up another date. This time I bring my wife. Finally after an hour of waiting (completely understandable in the tattoo business) he comes out with a picture on his phone that only shows 10% of what I wanting to get. It was exactly what I told him I wasn't into (Japanese style colors and design nothing wrong with this style just not my thing), at this point I calmly explain I not into this style could he try again please. Then my wife starts to talk to him and he completely degrades her and wrote her off as stupid, and tried to convince her to get Japanese art all over her. I stopped him and asked to speak to a manager because a this point i want my deposit back. Lucky me the manager was out of the shop. So over the next few weeks, I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. He was always out. Finally I got ahold of the manager and I told him this unfortate story. Tells me the best he can do is put my deposit a a credit toward another artist. Ok fine, so a few months went by and I finally make my way back. I ask for the manager, he speaks with me, does not have any clue of my past troubles with this place and no record of my deposit going toward my next tattoo. So I basically got robbed, and never did get a tattoo. Plus, my wife got degraded. Yep, good times, so no I will not recomend this place. Very happy with the way these guys handle things. Very professional, easy going, and great to get along with. Russell fixed up my foot/ankle tattoo that was a damaged piece from a previous artist. I did not want black outlines, or the cartoon(ish) look, but it's growing on me, and I'm loving the vibrancy of the colors. Thinking about getting the first piece outlined black just to tie it all in. I cannot thank these folks enough for treating me so well! And for Russell having... an easy hand and not killing me with the needles, I'm surprised with how well I sat to have had both sides of my ankle colored in completely. The swelling that night and the next day was a good bit, but now that it's almost a week after having it done, it's gone and it's healing really nicely. Better than any of the other work I've had done on my foot and ankle. Hardly scabbing over, hardly itchy. Ready for it to heal completely to see the final results! He rocks.
