Received a beautiful custom tattoo from Connelly on a Saturday and stopped back in on Tuesday to ask a question about after-care. The owner took the time to answer my questions personally and make sure I was all set. Getting a gorgeous tattoo (beautiful custom art, great conversation, and perfect work) made me happy. Receiving excellent customer service days later, when the dollars don't matter so much, means a lot.

Got a tattoo quoted and called a few weeks later to see if they take walk ins, they said yes they do, so I come in and they say I have to make an appointment and then I ask the price again and they quote an extremely higher price after I showed them where I was quoted before. Waste of my time.

I don't know what their deal on tattoos are, but I would definitely not recommend this place for piercings. I had my septum pierced here yesterday and it turns out that they did it in the wrong place,...
I don't know what their deal on tattoos are, but I would definitely not recommend this place for piercings. I had my septum pierced here yesterday and it turns out that they did it in the wrong place, which caused me a lot of pain. They pierced through a lot of cartilage and they were very rude. Once the piercing process was over they very briefly went over aftercare and I was rushed out. I was left figuring out how to take care of it by myself which was very stressful. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you're looking for a good place I'd recommend Warlocks in Raleigh.

I had an amazing experience at Anchors Aweigh Tattoo Company! The business looked very professional and clean. This was my first tattoo and I was quite anxious, but Mike did an amazing job of being attentive of my anxieties. He was honest about the process (didn't try to sugar coat it) but in a kind way, not trying to scare me. Mike did such a fantastic job on my tattoo that I came away extremely pleased with the tattoo work. I can't say enough how wonderful my experience was at Anchors Aweigh Tattoo Company.<3

Got my first tattoo yesterday along with my mom (her first too). Jamey was our artist and he was great. We had to reschedule twice because of scheduling conflicts (and a hurricane) and both times Jamey stayed in contact with me and made sure we were on track. He made the whole appointment easy and I really enjoyed it. There was another artist there as well and she was very nice. I'd recommend him and this shop to anyone!

Jacob, Jamey, and Drew will take care of you, discuss options openly, and refer you to someone if needed. I can't imagine going anywhere else after such a great experience.

Received a beautiful custom tattoo from Connelly on a Saturday and stopped back in on Tuesday to ask a question about after-care. The owner took the time to answer my questions personally and make sure I was all set. Getting a gorgeous tattoo (beautiful custom art, great conversation, and perfect work) made me happy. Receiving excellent customer service days later, when the dollars don't matter so much, means a lot.

I had my septum pierced here yesterday and it turns out that they did it in the wrong place, which caused me a lot of pain. They pierced through a lot of cartilage and they were very rude.
