This tattoo shop wasn't like most tattoo shops I've seen. It was extremely laid back and had a great vibe to it, unlike many that have some kind of dark twist to them. I had been worried about the quality and sharpness of the line work since I was getting a tribal tattoo that meant a lot to me, but I went with my gut and ended up at Cherry Blossom. It was AMAZING, and so were the prices. I will recommend these guys to everyone I know since I've already gotten so many compliments. I went in with some of my own sketches that i wanted a price range on. Wasn't greeted too well by the person manning the front desk that day, also saw someone getting an arm tatt in an uncomfortable looking computer chair, but I decided to ask anyways just because. When the lady looked through the sketches it kinda stung when she called them cartoony. I understand that some of the line work had to be cleaned up to make it doable, but the way she went on about the ideas I had was very unwelcoming and unsupportive. I worked with Mr. E for my piece and I'll say that it's pretty well done. It's a semi traditional Japanese upper arm piece. Line work's clean and the shading is pretty smooth. Here's the issue. I came to Mr E with a $600 price tag and a small number of components and said "show me what you want to do." He came back with a great idea sketched or and told me about the color ideas he had and we set a date. The line work and most of the shading ran through my 600 dollars. I was pissed, but I was told "don't worry, it's only about 400 in color left, just come back when you have the rest. " He damn near doubled his price on me. Love love love this studio! E was great to work with-took my simplistic "I want flowers on my arm" and created a work of art. Very professional, clean and friendly. Defiantly not a shop where you pick some flash from a book or the wall. This is an artists' studio. Once I forget how this hurt I am planing to come back and discuss making this piece into a slightly-less-than-half sleeve. I already had several tattoos of varying sizes prior to discovering E.  A few of his masterpieces are cover ups and you can't even tell that there was even a previous tattoo there!It never fails...  At least once a day, I get stopped at the grocery store, gym, on a track while running, you name it; someone will stop me to ask where I've gotten my work done and I happily tell them CHERRY BLOSSOM STUDIOS!E and Des are phenomenal artists, professional, and friendly.  Time is valuable yet they will take the time to ensure that a prospective client gets a quality piece done.  The studio itself is inviting and clean.  It's definitely NOT a cookie cutter type of tattoo environment!  All my work is done by E and he will be the last artist I ever have! OUR experience with Mr. E was amazing! My dearest husband and I wanted to have a unique Valentine's celebration. We heard good things about this place, and stopped in late on V-Day. Luckily, he had space to do two tattoos. They came out amazing! His care and attention. Plus, without asking he re-did one of my older faded tats. Brought it back to life! Won't be returning. Here are the main reasons:Service sucked. Honestly, I'm no novice to the tattoo scene but I was treated like I was greener than a sapling. I didn't feel welcomed or greeted with a smile, I wasn't helped to decide how my tattoo would be done, and I just got a handful of "no, that won't work" kind of answers. I went in to get what I thought was a simple piece, but I kept getting told that it was to big, or it wouldn't go where I wanted it too, or that no one would be able to read it. And then when I decided that I was flexible enough to change where I wanted to get it, I got a bunch of raised eyebrows and "really?" type of responses. If I want a goddamn dick on my arm, then that's my prerogative. As an artist you can either agree or refuse to do it, but you don't have to criticize and belittle. Secondly, I waited for damn near thirty minutes while my artist prepared. I sat in one of the waiting chairs that was pulled from the front area, and my tattoo was done on a rolling office chair wrapped in plastic wrap that kept shifting around the entire time. C'mon guys. All around the artist made it awkward for me, and I really felt like I was rushed to get out of there. I gave this review two stars solely based on the work done. It came out great, but they really need to work on everything in between. I would recommend this to anyone who is very flexible on the piece they want done and doesn't care how service is conducted. THE AMAZING MR. E.... If you wanna get inked the right way than you need to go see Mr. E @ Cherry Blossom studios. Custom work at it's finest, don't dare go in looking for a board to pick off of....Go in with your ideas and heart and let E do the rest. I went in with a simple idea and honestly wasn't sure how I wanted it done... E worked with me and came up with some great ideas, I ended up getting silhouetted butterflies in black/gray and they turned out amazing. My husband got some work done too and again we gave him the idea and he came through with a great design that we both loved! The short is leave those factory tattoo shops alone and go get some custom ink from Mr. E at Cherry Blossoms... You will so love it and him. I promise!! Read Less
