The guy at the desk was extremely nice and helpful and then we met Alex. Alex was very professional, fun, easy to have conversation with. She was a great artist. Just got my tattoo finished and I love it. I gave Alex some ideas of what I wanted and she created my one of a kind piece. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a tattoo than Best Ink. All the artist are friendly and do awesome work. After looking at each artist work online just come by the shop and make an appointment because they are so good it's by appointment only. I stopped in here as a walk-in on a Saturday morning with no prior appointment and they worked me into their schedule with no fuss. I showed Alex a design I found online and we talked over the design. Alex did a great job of listening to my request and made sure it came out perfect. The artists here have a really positive, happy attitude which is awesome. They all seem legitimately happy to be there which is such a blessing. Alex is absolutely, without a doubt, incredible. I cannot brag enough about Alex and her work. After getting not so great work done at another place, I really wanted my next tattoos to be done by a place that had a good reputation and had artists with a lot of work in their portfolios so I could make an informed, researched decision. The wait was well, well worth it. When you first walk in to the shop, it's like walking in to an interior decorator's living room. I have never ...been to a shop as beautiful as this one. The vibe is very, very chill and I felt completely at ease as I waited for Alex to draw up my tattoos (their couches are insanely comfortable). I have had multiple artists work on me....but @[688959503:Brandi R. Harkness-Bruce] is by far the best work on my body. I have had many pieces done by her that still look better than work I have had in the last couple years. If I was able to, I would have all my work done by her. I never wanted another artist to ink me after her....felt like I was cheating on her lol. In fact, I asked her permission before having more work on me. I absolutely love Brandi. She's the most down to earth amazing artist she will make you feel right at home like you've always known her. All the artists there are simply incredible. The whole atmosphere is super nice and they will help you with anything you need. I've gotten 3 about to be 4 tattoos from here and I've never had anything bad to say about anything even the star wars flash tattoos as crowded as it was everything was calm and went smoothly. I have been tattooed be a few different people from a few different states, NOTHING compares to the work done by best ink. I personally had work done by Bruce that turned out way better then I could've ever expected and it isn't even finished yet. The army has moved me since but we were able to get a half sleeve done. I swore I wouldn't let anyone touch it to finish it and to be honest, I wouldn't want to anyways cause I don't know if I could find someone with not only the professional work he does but the personality he has. Definitely want to publicize this tattoo shop. Hands down the best tattoo shop in town. Hospitable and they do amazing work. I got a tattoo from Brandi and it came out phenomenal. I have 17 tattoos 6 of which are large and this is the best work I've ever had. Now granted there are a lot of shops in town but I have seen their work and it doesn't compare. So pricing may seem a bit high up front. But in reality you're paying by the hour which is always better than paying by the piece. When people pay by the piece they have a set length of time and lost track of details. Nonetheless, best work I've seen and I've done my research nonstop.
