Never go here for piercings. They are terrible. I hate that I had to give it a star to post this review. I wish I could give it zero stars. The guy that did my piercing pierced thru the top of my nipple keeping it closed. It bled a lot afterwards so I couldn't really tell how bad it was until I got home and cleaned it. He pierced me twice on my inverted nipple. The bar went in one side, out in the middle, back in in the middle and then out on the other side. So technically 4 holes in one of my nipples. You could see the metal in the middle and my nipple could not come out after. I called, did not get an answer so I left a voicemail 3 hours before they closed and then again 30 minutes before closing. It was hurting really bad even with pain killers. I had Black Cloud Tattoo at Carolina Place mall give me a second opinion the day after and they confirmed that this piercing was f**ked up. Black Cloud was awesome and removed the messed up piercing for me (this was on a Sunday when Tattoo Bill's was closed). I called when they reopened. The man that answered is the one that did my piercing. He made everything worse than the situation itself. He yelled at me and told me to "put my big girl panties on and get over it" (it being the fact that he messed up my piercing)?!! He said that I could not get a refund and that my piercings being messed up is my fault because my nipples are that way! I was completely baffled! I am not an argumentative person and work in customer service so I truly feel that being polite and respectful is important even when you've been wronged. I could understand him being mad if I yelled, cursed or took the pointing the finger approach but instead I was tactful pre-meditated how I would approach the call before doing so (that way I could get the best result).I posted a google review and found that many others had similar experiences about the piercings done here. Same messed up piercings and same bad customer service.I am posting pictures to get across the point. Google allowed them so hopefully Yelp won't have a problem with them *fingers crossed*

I have always wanted a tattoo but never knew what to get. Once I figured it out I went in for a consultation and got set up with Jeff. He explained what I should expect as it's my first tattoo and was very patient throughout the whole process. We got going within an hour and a half I had exactly what I pictured on my shoulder. Would highly recommend Jeff and Tattoo Bill's. The place was super clean very inviting.

I went in for my first removal session and was so pleased with my experience. All of the staff was nice and helpful. Frank was kind, informative and never made me feel dumb for getting my tattoo removed. It was clean, fast and more than reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to my next appointment and absolutely would recommend this place for anyone getting a tattoo or trying to get rid of one!

All three times i was a call ahead- pretty much walk in lol- and they fit me in which is super awesome. The people who work there are really friendly, professional & talented. I love all my piercings, had no issues, and they inform you really well on aftercare. My tattoo was also beautifully done and very helpful with reminding me of aftercare. 100% recommend!

Several friends have gotten tattooed at Tattoo Bill's, which led me to get one there about 2 years ago. Had a great experience with my artist and was very happy with my tattoo. These positive experiences are what led me to get 3 piercings done there three months ago. Chris was very friendly and professional. He coached me thru my nose piercing and then a double helix. When I had some issues with my nose ring (which was bent at an angle that was irritating the inside of my nose), he switched it out with one that he bent at a slightly wider angle to reduce irritation. Fast forward several weeks later, and a bump developed with my nose ring. It would disappear for a week and then reappear, then disappear and come back again. Now that 3 months have passed, I figured if I switched out the nose ring with one that is straight, maybe the bump would go away. I went to another piercer, who informed me that the bump keeps appearing because my nose piercing wasn't done at a 90 degree angle. It's slanted and in order to get rid of the bump I will have to remove the nose ring and let it heal and then get it pierced again. She verified that my double helix piercings are straight but said that the quality of the jewelry used (surgical stainless steel) is very cheap and is not hypoallergenic. I would recommend Bill's for tattoos but definitely wouldn't recommend them for piercings.

I've gone to a couple places in Charlotte for tattoo removal. Tattoo Bills is, hands down, the best choice. The cost is so much more reasonable than anywhere else I've been. The cooling machine makes a HUGE difference in making the pain more tolerable. And the owner's expertise and customer service makes the overall experience well worth it. I highly recommend Tattoo Bills!

The 3rd time it was awful, unclean lines and blowouts. I also had them give me an industrial and shortly after the guy passed out that pierced me.

His level of talent/technical ability, professionalism, and patience are impressive. Chris has done several piercings and always goes through step by step to show that he is following good sanitation practices, is using sterile and/or new supplies (as appropriate), and hospital grade disinfectants.

I got my industrial pierced here about a year ago, was a little pricier but was highly recommended.The piercer wasn't really friendly, but he made sure I knew everything was sterile and explained everything. Took about 5 minutes, he scratched me a little bit when piercing, and I'm not totally happy with the placement - the end is a little too close to where my ear connects to my head, and the holes are too far back (so that the bar leaves a little dent on the inside of my ear), but it healed well and doesn't cause any major discomfort. Not really mad about it, but I'm not going to go back.

My husband nor myself could not get it back in. I had changed it months before with out any problems getting it back in until we tried to get it back in this time. Well I Messaged Tattoo Bills and told them what happen. Got off work came up and Chris took me right then and got my earring Sterilized and back in my ear within five minutes. I’m one happy customer and will recommend Tattoos Bills.

Scheduling was easy and the consult was free and I felt very confident of how the procedure worked after it was explained to me. I never felt like I was being "sold", in fact it was no pressure and easy to ask any questions I had. Frank was great! The office is professional, clean and comfortable. Their other employees are personable, my session was quick, and it was fun to just talk about all things around town. My treatment plan calls for 4-6 treatments And is more affordable than I thought. Anytime a friend asks where I’m getting my tattoo removed, I think Tattoo Bill’s gets another client.

I am one of those unfortunate people who decided it was a good idea to tattoo a wedding symbol on my ring finger. Let Me Tell You Folks, this is never a good idea. He may be Prince Charming he may be the love of your life but he also may be a selfish narcissist and you just don't see it yet. With the help of Frank I have almost finished the removal of this symbol of unity on my finger. Frank's a really awesome guy and I would travel even further for his assistance in this. His prices are extremely reasonable and if you have a regretful tattoo I would highly recommend him.

I recently started looking at several providers to take my wife and begin the tattoo removal process. After a couple of consultations, we give this place a try. We just felt really comfortable and had a really good experience with Frank and will be going back for her other treatments as well.
Frank was very genuine, honest and didn’t try to push treatment packages. He gave us realistic expectations on the duration of the treatment process, and took the time to educate us on how to maximize ink removal results in between treatments. I recommend Frank and this company for anyone who looking into tattoo removal.

He explained everything he was going to do, how things were cleaned and sterilized, and how to care for the piercing afterwards. He was extremely professional, calming and friendly. Definitely recommend him and Tattoo Bills as a whole as I have also had excellent experiences with their tattoo artists as well. Great place to go and know you are in capable and professional hands.

Getting a tattoo removed is no simple decision and everyone knows it hurts, but he was such a nice guy that I was totally at ease. Speaking of hurt - holy shittake mushrooms - that's some of the most uncomfortable and sharpest pain I have ever felt. The tattoo I'm getting removed is on my rib cage so maybe that has something to do with it.. but damn. OUCH. It hurts. Way worse than when I got the tattoo 6 years ago. Regardless - I am definitely recommending this place to anyone who needs a removal in the future!

After being referred to by a co worker, I am currently going here for tattoo removal. What more can I say that hasn't already been said about this awesome place? Everything has been professional and top notch. From the initial consultation to my third treatment today, I have been really impressed with the high quality of service. Extra little touches like a great friendly staff, extra patience with me during my treatment and excellent bedside manner makes the entire process enjoyable as possible. I am looking forward to the finished result within a few months.

From start to finish my experience here was amazing! This was my first tattoo so understandably I had no idea how the process worked or what to expect. Kenny was great with getting me setup with an appointment and answering any questions I had. He was extremely nice and welcoming! I had Jasmine as my artist and she made my idea come to life in a way that exceeded my expectations! She was personable and walked me through the entire process. I had mine done on my ribs and for that area she made it surprisingly pretty easy to sit through and overall not too painful! I will definitely be back! Thank you guys!!

He helped me to an artist and the artist was a true professional. I give him some vague idea about what is wanting and when he returned with my drawing it was beyond words. He tattooed me and it was the best tattoo experience ever. This is a first class operation from top to bottom!! I would recommend anyone to this establishment. A+++++++++

Never go here for piercings. They are terrible. I hate that I had to give it a star to post this review. I wish I could give it zero stars. The guy that did my piercing pierced thru the top of my nipple keeping it closed. It bled a lot afterwards so I couldn't really tell how bad it was until I got home and cleaned it. He pierced me twice on my inverted nipple. The bar went in one side, out in the middle, back in in the middle and then out on the other side. So technically 4 holes in one of my nipples. You could see the metal in the middle and my nipple could not come out after. I called, did not get an answer so I left a voicemail 3 hours before they closed and then again 30 minutes before closing. It was hurting really bad even with pain killers. I had Black Cloud Tattoo at Carolina Place mall give me a second opinion the day after and they confirmed that this piercing was f**ked up. Black Cloud was awesome and removed the messed up piercing for me (this was on a Sunday when Tattoo Bill's was closed). I called when they reopened. The man that answered is the one that did my piercing. He made everything worse than the situation itself. He yelled at me and told me to "put my big girl panties on and get over it" (it being the fact that he messed up my piercing)?!! He said that I could not get a refund and that my piercings being messed up is my fault because my nipples are that way! I was completely baffled! I am not an argumentative person and work in customer service so I truly feel that being polite and respectful is important even when you've been wronged. I could understand him being mad if I yelled, cursed or took the pointing the finger approach but instead I was tactful pre-meditated how I would approach the call before doing so (that way I could get the best result).I posted a google review and found that many others had similar experiences about the piercings done here. Same messed up piercings and same bad customer service.I am posting pictures to get across the point. Google allowed them so hopefully Yelp won't have a problem with them *fingers crossed*

He explained what I should expect as it's my first tattoo and was very patient throughout the whole process. We got going within an hour and a half I had exactly what I pictured on my shoulder. Several friends have gotten tattooed at Tattoo Bill's, which led me to get one there about 2 years ago. Had a great experience with my artist and was very happy with my tattoo. These positive experiences are what led me to get 3 piercings done there three months ago. Chris was very friendly and professional. He coached me thru my nose piercing and then a double helix. When I had some issues with my nose ring (which was bent at an angle that was irritating the inside of my nose), he switched it out with one that he bent at a slightly wider angle to reduce irritation. Fast forward several weeks later, and a bump developed with my nose ring. It would disappear for a week and then reappear, then disappear and come back again. Now that 3 months have passed, I figured if I switched out the nose ring with one that is straight, maybe the bump would go away. I went to another piercer, who informed me that the bump keeps appearing because my nose piercing wasn't done at a 90 degree angle. It's slanted and in order to get rid of the bump I will have to remove the nose ring and let it heal and then get it pierced again. She verified that my double helix piercings are straight but said that the quality of the jewelry used (surgical stainless steel) is very cheap and is not hypoallergenic. I would recommend Bill's for tattoos but definitely wouldn't recommend them for piercings.

Took about 5 minutes, he scratched me a little bit when piercing, and I'm not totally happy with the placement - the end is a little too close to where my ear connects to my head, and the holes are too far back (so that the bar leaves a little dent on the inside of my ear), but it healed well and doesn't cause any major discomfort. Not really mad about it, but I'm not going to go back.

Scheduling was easy and the consult was free and I felt very confident of how the procedure worked after it was explained to me. I never felt like I was being "sold", in fact it was no pressure and easy to ask any questions I had. Frank was great! The office is professional, clean and comfortable. Their other employees are personable, my session was quick, and it was fun to just talk about all things around town. My treatment plan calls for 4-6 treatments And is more affordable than I thought. Anytime a friend asks where I’m getting my tattoo removed, I think Tattoo Bill’s gets another client.

I am one of those unfortunate people who decided it was a good idea to tattoo a wedding symbol on my ring finger. Let Me Tell You Folks, this is never a good idea. He may be Prince Charming he may be the love of your life but he also may be a selfish narcissist and you just don't see it yet. With the help of Frank I have almost finished the removal of this symbol of unity on my finger. Frank's a really awesome guy and I would travel even further for his assistance in this. His prices are extremely reasonable and if you have a regretful tattoo I would highly recommend him.

I recently started looking at several providers to take my wife and begin the tattoo removal process. After a couple of consultations, we give this place a try. We just felt really comfortable and had a really good experience with Frank and will be going back for her other treatments as well.
Frank was very genuine, honest and didn’t try to push treatment packages. He gave us realistic expectations on the duration of the treatment process, and took the time to educate us on how to maximize ink removal results in between treatments. I recommend Frank and this company for anyone who looking into tattoo removal.

I'll update this as my tattoo removal progresses, but so far this place is awesome (only had one session so far). Frank is super nice and really chill. Getting a tattoo removed is no simple decision and everyone knows it hurts, but he was such a nice guy that I was totally at ease. Speaking of hurt - holy shittake mushrooms - that's some of the most uncomfortable and sharpest pain I have ever felt. The tattoo I'm getting removed is on my rib cage so maybe that has something to do with it.. but damn. OUCH. It hurts. Way worse than when I got the tattoo 6 years ago. Regardless - I am definitely recommending this place to anyone who needs a removal in the future!

This was the second trip for me but years in between. Bill is one of the coolest guys i ever met. And the artists are all really professional and attentive to your desires and helpful in choosing the perfect piece for your body art. Great designers and make each piece one of a kind. Thank you. It was my Birthday and they all made me feel special and its always a comfortable environment there anyway. Love you guys.... I'll be back.... I'm not finished yet.

My tattoo was sentimental to me, since I'm a first time mom. It represented the bond I've created and will continue to have with my daughter. After being referred to by a co worker, I am currently going here for tattoo removal. What more can I say that hasn't already been said about this awesome place? Everything has been professional and top notch. From the initial consultation to my third treatment today, I have been really impressed with the high quality of service. Extra little touches like a great friendly staff, extra patience with me during my treatment and excellent bedside manner makes the entire process enjoyable as possible. I am looking forward to the finished result within a few months.

From start to finish my experience here was amazing! This was my first tattoo so understandably I had no idea how the process worked or what to expect. Kenny was great with getting me setup with an appointment and answering any questions I had. He was extremely nice and welcoming! I had Jasmine as my artist and she made my idea come to life in a way that exceeded my expectations! She was personable and walked me through the entire process. I had mine done on my ribs and for that area she made it surprisingly pretty easy to sit through and overall not too painful! I will definitely be back! Thank you guys!!

They are a great group of people who have a strong passion for what they do! I traveled from Raleigh, NC (a little under 3 hrs) just to get tattooed by Marcus (he gave me another tattoo years ago)! His line work is flawless, his color blending/shading is gorgeous, plus he is so laid back/he's a great guy! Obviously I highly recommend going here; you won't regret it! Thanks again, guys!

I can't begin to tell you how great my experience was. I was greeted by an older gentleman who was very polite and helpful. Come to find out, it was the owner and he was great. He helped me to an artist and the artist was a true professional. I give him some vague idea about what is wanting and when he returned with my drawing it was beyond words. He tattooed me and it was the best tattoo experience ever. This is a first class operation from top to bottom!! I would recommend anyone to this establishment. A+++++++++

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and the place was clean and child friendly; not to mention the prices were VERY reasonable.Ii got my tatt by a guy named Steve and it turned out GREAT! I would highly recommend anyone thinking of getting a tatt to check outTtattooBbill's before going anywhere else. I will DEFINATELY be going back for future work.

Laser treatment was very affordable and office is very clean. I have been waiting on getting a removal for about a year and glad I found this place. Everything went great.
