My husband and I were looking for wedding band tattoos and we found Chris at Capones. Best decision ever for a tattoo! He was energetic, fun, and knowledgeable. You could tell he does what he loves!! We love our tattoos and we will definitely go there in the future for our next one! Great job Chris!!

That's FIVE in SIX months... if that doesn't say something about the owner, I don't know what does. Remember, a tattoo is something that will last a lifetime. If you want a good quality tattoo or piercing from an artist that is well qualified and passionate about their career, go find one of those 5 employees that left Capone's. I showed up for my appointment, the owner was very rude and even started yelling awful things at the top of his lungs at the employees working there for what I could tell no reason so I just left with no warning. Will not be returning, and I'm disappointed because of all the great things I've heard about the team up there but I was told wrong!

This place over charges and does not live up to their "Shop Rate" of the $150 an hour shop rate which also changes according to who you talk to. You will get a different story and a different price. A...
This place over charges and does not live up to their "Shop Rate" of the $150 an hour shop rate which also changes according to who you talk to. You will get a different story and a different price. A 20 minute tattoo should be shop minimum of $60 but they charged $140 for 20 minutes for 3 letters. Highly disappointed. They have been shut down 2 times for tax evasion and drug activity so that alone shows the dishonesty. As an alternative I highly recommend Eddie Lee at Public Inks in Gastonia.

I went here February 26 for my finger tattoo and they listened to anything I felt they needed to know like my habit of jerking and making small movements when getting ink done. They helped me stay still by just talking to me and when my hand was cramping up Jake (the one that did my tattoo) let me have a moment to get it out. Best tattoo parlor ever! Everyone has samples of their work hanging up in their stations which I felt gave piece of mind that no matter who gets you to do your tattoo is proud of their work and will work on it like they would want someone to work on their own.

They are social and help put your mind at ease. The shop is spotless and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this parlor to any first timers or people looking to get inked again. He treats you like family when you walk into his shop. My main tattoo artist is Tyler he never ceases to amaze me! We are working on my half sleeve and I couldn't be happier! The music playing in the shop was very loud and offensive, so if you are sensitive to obscene lyrics, bring some ear buds. I will be returning.

I've been to a few different tattoo parlors and Capone's is probably my favorite. It's a clean place with friendly and knowledgeable people. They treat me with respect and value my thoughts. And they are that way with every customer that walks in the door. My main dude there is Jake but from what I have gathered it seems like everyone there is cool. The two best things about the people at this tattoo parlor are that they are decidedly un-redneck but at the same time absolutely unpretentious. From what I can tell, every artist there is top notch. Jake Conyers is my go-to guy, I highly recommend him. He has definitely earned my business and my trust. I recommend this place to anyone, whether it's your first tattoo or if you have done this many times before.

Been going to capones for 2 years now and I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else! I've had Austin do two of my tattoos and the rest were done by Steve. These guys are awesome! You walk in and you're greeted and treated like they've known you for years. I have major respect for all of them. They're all genuinely great guys and amazing artists! The atmosphere has always been amazing, even more so with Chris Campbell back! Thanks for all the amazing work, guys! You won't regret going, and it's always a fun time while you're there! If you're looking for a place to laugh, get some good ink, and be surrounded by people with the biggest hearts, I wouldn't think twice before saying to go here!

I went here February 26 for my finger tattoo and they listened to anything I felt they needed to know like my habit of jerking and making small movements when getting ink done. I've been to a few different tattoo parlors and Capone's is probably my favorite. It's a clean place with friendly and knowledgeable people. They treat me with respect and value my thoughts. And they are that way with every customer that walks in the door. My main dude there is Jake but from what I have gathered it seems like everyone there is cool. Great people, great experience. Nice and clean. My piercer was friggin' hilarious, but overall I loved everything about it.
