This shop is really nice and laid back while looking super cool. I love the original artwork displayed and the private but open layout of the shop. I was tattooed by Jesse Wickes on two occasions. He is absolutely a sweetheart and made sure my tattoo was everything I hoped it would be. For a large built guy he is rather light handed which was a pleasant surprise and really cooperative regarding customer service. I have quite a few tattoos already and am an internationally published tattoo model and I must say his apple on my left upper thigh is definitely one of my favorites. Read Less

I came here in January for the snake eyes piercing. Very clean environment, very quick service and everyone was so Fucking cool! My piercer was very sweet and funny. Forgive me but his name escapes my mind at his moment. However, his courtesy and professionalism does not. He was very patient with my "shy tongue" and was very meticulous with his craft. I've had four tattoos done at Thicker than Blood in past three years or so. I have absolutely no complaints. The shop is clean, the artists are first rate and so is their work. I'll be going back in a few weeks to finish my lasted tattoo, then (when it's complete) I'm going to have my old tattoos (not done at TTB) touched up. I got tattooed by Lucas. Its ALWAYS dead in there which should have had me running from the very beginning. I knew he was a shitty artist but I thought "it's just lettering, how talented do you have to be for that, right?" WRONG!!!!  He embellished the font WITHOUT asking me first, so the writing looked totally different than the stencil. He left no space between 2 of the words so it's completely illegible, and the lettering was sloppy, mediocre at best. He charged $150 and told me that it was a "deal". When I asked him for my money back all he did was offer to "fix it" as if something like that can be fixed. I'm in the process of having it removed. save your money and stay away from this shop. better yet, start a petition to shut it down. Read Less

The owner was really nice.  Place was dead (that should have tipped me off).  We did a small piece on my arm.  The lettering is so blurry.  The numbers are crooked and it was $100.  That's expensive for 45 minutes of crap work.  Please look into who does your work before making this mistake.  I now have to either go over it, have it removed for a on of money or hide it for the rest of my life. What's more, the shop is completely unprofessional-- they're known at my college for being misogynistic and making creepy sexual comments towards clients and on their Instagram. Just don't go here. been there twice now. the atmosphere is is less than professional. the artwork is mediocre. my tattoo was infected almost immediately after getting it, and i have many tattoos, so i know how to properly care for one, this was the first time i ever had a tattoo infected. my artist was incredibly rude and misogynistic.Read Less
