got my nose pierced last night and Tony made me feel very comfortable and walked me through the whole process as he was going about it. I was of course nervous as I haven't had any work done or needles in or near my body for quite some time, but with him explaining each step as it was happening.. I got some piercings here back in March. Tony was really nice and talked me through it, even though it wasn't my first piercing. He didnt talk down to me or anything, it was more of a conversation. I went back last night to get some tattoos because of how nice Tony was, and his associate Keith did the tattoos. Keith was not as nice. He never really introduced himself to me, just pointed at his email so I could send him my reference photos. He talked down to me as if I didn't know anything about tattoos. I have 4 before the 2 I got last night. I got my wrists tattooed and he only shaved one, and very aggressively. I had razorburn on it under the tattoo today. The tattoos look good, but they were simple since it's my first tattoo at this place and I wanted to get ones that were difficult to mess up. I tried to make conversation, but he wasn't really into it. I get that people have bad days and it was pretty late, but it was frustrating. My little sister went into the shop to get a tattoo for my daughter and our grandmother who recently past away. She was told to come in at 830 pm as they were running behind. When she got there she was told by the owners wife to come back the next day at 430 because they were too busy then the next day was told they turned too many people away the day before and to come back the next day. My first time coming, and def the last! Don't get me wrong, the store is clean and organized, cool. But when you enter a tattoo shop you're not there to inspect their store but get a tattoo, and let me tell you guys, TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! The owner himself, Tony, did my tattoo, and trust me, i will be getting it fixed within the next two weeks, until then it's long sleeves 24/7. His line work is awful! I pierced my belly button here. Tony did the piercing for me, and it was a great job. He explained everything he was doing and was very professional. He marked where I'd be pierced and checked it over with me. Made sure the area was clean. All I felt was a quick pinch for the needle, and nothing for the piercing going in. Personalities were great, shop vibe, clean and sanitary working environment. Tattoo quality was poor tho for sure. I have well over a dozen mid to large prices from all different shops the quality of the one I got here was very disappointing. That said my friend had a piece done there from a different artist and his was of a much higher caliber. I got a tattoo at Tony's last year. The customer service and interest in discussing the tattoo possibilities with me was disgraceful, effectively non-existant. I felt as if they didn't even want my business. But I was under time constraints to get the tattoo and so I ended up making a decision and getting it there and then... it was the wrong decision! The tattoo was such poor quality. The ink was smudged, the lines weren't straight, and part of the tattoo ended up wonky. My tattoo was very small, I can't imagine how bad it could have been if it had been big or detailed or colored. I am having to get the tattoo removed and redone, because the job done at Tony's was so poor, which is going to cost me 500 dollars. I would not recommend Tony's to anyone. To start off this place does NOT deserve even 1 star but to write his review I was obligated too. Around 3 weeks ago I went to this place to get my daith pierced and he didn't even check ID so if you're under age and want a piercing that's the place to go. Second of all he pierced my ear too close to the end of the cartridge where it was pulling my skin.. he said that's normal. I went to a different piecer 2 days after to look at it and he said it was done completely wrong and too close I was waiting until I was going to be back in Hempstead to go see him but the the heavy rod rip through the thing piece of cartilage he had supporting it. I went to him today to show him and he was negating the whole fact laughing in my face calling me a child. Yet another customer came in and I showed him the picture and he even said it does not look right. I'd advise to go to a different place for piercing. Read Less

The owner Tony does not do professional work. I got a simple trace job and the owner couldn't do straight line work and had one part of the line work overblown. For 15 years of experience tattooing, that is really quite embarrassing to be honest.He offers no touch up after healing which any reputable artist would offer. Really shows a lack of pride in his work.When I called and asked for a touch up his response was "Why would you need it?".... Wow... Just wow...Any reputable professional tattoo artist that knows the trade and skill, will tell you that it is very common for touch ups to be needed for tattoos after healing and in fact even insist on them to clientOwner is a liar as well. On my chargeback dispute, he lies to my bank about me being pleased and leaving a tip which i never did. My bank decided not to side with me due to legalese and saying the issue is related to the quality of the services rendered. It's whatever at this point,He obviously is starving for money. His shop is always empty so I guess he needs every penny he could get. Artists that do quality work, never have a empty shop and you need an appointment. Tony doesn't have appointments and his shop is mostly empty because his work is quite bluntly poor quality.I'll just forget it at this point and just let karma do it's work.Just remember if a artist can't do a simple TRACE job even and straight - DO NOT GET ANY WORK DONE FROM THEM! My friend and I decided to get spur of the moment tattoos. We had decided we really wanted to do our research, as I wanted words and she wanted a detailed giraffe. We spent hours looking, and came across Tony's! Super comfy, cool atmosphere once you walk in. The guys there are awesome. I believe it's tony and his friend who are just there. I was there back in November, so not sure if they added anyone new. My friend got her tat done by tony, who did a sick job! I unfortunately don't have a picture. He even offered to fix a botched tattoo job she had done at a different shop, at a super large discount. He is so friendly and really wants your tattoos to be art and lasting, not just something that looks hot for now. Igot my tattoo done by the other guy (I don't remember if I got his name but he was awesome!) I was being super annoying with what I wanted, and he worked with me until we were able to come up with something that would last, and not look so mushed together. (I wanted small script, idk what the heck I was thinking.) and then last minute I decided I wanted a paper airplane along with my words. The guy I got tattooed by was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. He was careful and precise and was just overall super chill. Their pricing is awesome, but that's just a bonus. With their professionalism, and courteousness, it would have been worth every penny, even if they charged more. The words are awesome, and the plane is so subtle. This is by far my favorite tattoo, and I finally have a shop I feel like I know I'm going to be taken care of. Definitely check out this shop if you want awesome service, cleanliness (everything is super sterile by the way and so clean), and awesome staff. So happy we chose Tony's! Read Less

I will not recommend this place to anyone and beware. I got a small arrow on my finger and have never been so disappointed. The lines are uneven and the shading is terrible. He told me because it was just done it was heal the way I wanted. Even though I was trying to ask him how "healing" was going to fix the uneven lines.
