I just got my tattoo done here yesterday. 6/6/18. With my best friend. We did matching tattoos of a little bird on the side, where the rib cage is. We got matching tattoos since I’m moving away and it symbolizes that since I’m moving away, I’m “flying away”. I thought it would hurt, but it didn’t. It only hurt a bit, and I’m bad when it comes to pain. My belly piercing hurt way worse. But overall, Rob, who did our tattoo, did an amazing job. He first did a line to see how the pain was gonna be since it was our first time doing a tattoo. And the results came out perfect and I would 10/10 come back for another tattoo here. Have Rob do your tattoo also, he’s calming, he’s very nice and he talks to you so you’re less nervous. Thank you for me and my friends little bird tattoo :)

I totally recommend Sparrow Tattoo, I got a tattoo from Rob after he tattooed my best friend with an amazing mandala piece.. I’ve never been tatted before this and had my reservations about having tattoos.. but when I seen the detail and the creativity put into that piece it changed my views on tattoos.. Even though I was nervous they made me feel so comfortable with their personable and friendly attitudes.. And I’m not just talking about the person who tattooed me on talking about the other two artist that were there that day.. They also gave me the whole after care speech which is very important for newbies lol.. I love this place and I am going back for seconds, thirds and more.. :)

Rob is amazing!!! I’ve been coming here for over 8 years for all of my tattoos. I get compliments constantly on the work he’s done. You can tell hes passionate at what he does and truly puts in 100% effort to make your tattoo exactly what you want. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPARROW TO EVERYONE! After getting tattooed here there’s no other shop in Long Island I would go to... plus it doesn’t hurt that they have great prices and friendly staff :)

very friendly staff but not a good tattoo! got a small arrow on my wrist. the man who gave me my tattoo didn’t shave my arm beforehand whic is probably unsanitary. he put the stencil on my arm about 6...
very friendly staff but not a good tattoo! got a small arrow on my wrist. the man who gave me my tattoo didn’t shave my arm beforehand whic is probably unsanitary. he put the stencil on my arm about 6 times and since I wanted it thin and dainty he said he had a line that he was gonna follow that was more slim than the stencil and i just put my trust into him. i shouldn’t have because it came out SO CROOKED and the details were SO UNEVEN! i am not a tattoo artist and respect their craft but is a straight line really THAT difficult? also did the aftercare correctly and 20% of the tattoo flaked off? went to wyld chyld tattoo in merrick to get it fixed and they fixed it beautifully!

I went to Sparrow after a friend's recommendation and I could not have been happier. The place is very clean, Rob was incredibly professional, and I love the tattoo that I got. It barely even hurt. He helped me to create something that was perfect for me, even helped me find the perfect place to put it. EXCELLENT. I highly recommend for people like me- scaredy cats!

Got some simple wording done,came as a walk in, and within an hour I was done. Amazing work and by far one of the best tattoos I've gotten. Even had a talk about other ideas for my next piece.

I just got my tattoo done here yesterday. 6/6/18. With my best friend. We did matching tattoos of a little bird on the side, where the rib cage is.
