Richelle did my tattoo today and she did amazing. She took me as a walk in and dealt with my pain in the ass wishes and gave me a beautiful tattoo that I'm so in love with. She offered after care instructions and made sure I walked out of there with a clean/covered tattoo. Every other artist in the studio were super nice and it was very professional and clean. Very friendly, very clean, and the artists are very knowledgeable. I met with Richelle last week to give her my idea for a memorial piece and we came up with plan together. We set up an appt and I came back last night to get the work done. The tattoo itself has exceeded my expectations. Walked in and the shop was really busy! Nobody noticed us, so we snuck away and came back a few hours later. Piercer Nikki was at the front desk and helped us right away. She did my very first set of dermal piercings for me. Quick, easy, and she explained how to care for them and sent me on my way with a business card and how to care for instructions. The shop owner seemed very friendly, re assured me about the care of my piercings, and the shop itself was definitely clean and well maintained the day of my visit. Sooooo haven't gotten work done there. Walked in to inquire about a tattoo. Was treated rudely and talked at in a very condescending tone. The entire time the chic with the under the chin tattoo and mustache refused to look at me. She looked at my gf while she was answering my question. I left and had to come back in for something and every single person there was talking trash about me. They may do good work but they are def snobby and have bad attitudes. Found an artist later that do tho. They def have no customer consideration. Read Less

It's the most sanitary tattoo shop I've seen in Watertown ny, and for as long as I'm in watertown Bare Knuckle will be the ONLY place I go to for tattoos or piercings. I am been getting work done by Kristina since before Bare Knuckle Tattoo opened. Didn't have to debate to follow her when she ventured out and started her own shop. She is a real artist and did a huge cover up on me, touched most of the work I had in the past as well as did portrait work. Kristina and Kandy (both are well rounded artists) have done work on me, my daughter, my mother and numerous people I work with and ppl commented on my work and got their own body art done. This is definitely the best tattoo shop I have been to in my 23 years of getting tattoos and anyone who works with her has lived up to her level.
