called and left a message a day later at 7 pm get a call when someone should have been there at 12 that day told the guy what i needed done he started at $75.00 kept changing the price got to $225.00 i said i know 2 people that had the same work done took 1/2 hour $60.00 at your store he said he had to travel to get there could not come until after 5pm so more or less i am paying for his travel time when someone should have been there so much for supporting your local stores called someone else he offered to come to me gave me a bigger tat then what i saw on pirates den customers with same work and nicer for $60.00 to bad because i would have gotten a lot more tats oh well your loss pirates den Read Less

I have had TWO unfortunate series where I have came in regards to piercings only to be told each time the piercer is not there. Why have the neon sign in the window that says and blinks "piercing" if your unable to accommodate customers? Tonight I just needed simple assistance screwing a piece on to my piercing...I was willing to pay and the guy in one of the chairs told me he doesn't know how to do that. If you're considering getting a piercing here, DONT. they messed up my tongue piercing and made it so unbearable that I had to take it out and get it redone a year later by a different piercer. Not to mention they didn't tell me how to care for the piercing, and they also didn't check my age or make me sign any paperwork. Unless you like wasting your money and want to sit in pain, I suggest going somewhere else. Read Less

I went to The Pirates Den to get my neck pierced. I had checked with a ton of other shops in the area and no one was able to do it. I found this to be a little odd as it seemed to be a simple piercing. A friend of mine had just had her navel pierced there and she told me to go check it out. I am so happy I did. The studio was awesome! I am an army brat and have been in studios all over the US and this one is one of the best I have seen. The artist books of tattoos they had done were full of nice tattoos. The piercer "Buzz" was great. He had come to this shop from 12 years on the west coast and really knew his art. He had certificates from several differnt piercing schools and that made me feel really safe. He did an awesome job on my neck and was so nice. He talked me through the whole piercing and made me feel really at ease. I ended up getting two dermals on my chest before I left. It was great and I would tell anyone to go here!!!! Read Less
