Carmelo did my first real piece and absolutely rocked it. I had three/four pictures and picked details I liked about them and he redrew my tattoo and incorporated them all with his own design as well. I wouldn't go to anyone else for my pieces because he knows what his clients like. Very easy to work with and his family is great in the shop. Very understanding when it comes to cancelations and very reasonable when it comes to pricing. I have sent all my friends his way and have never heard a complaint. Read Less

My artist was Jenn. Since it was my first tattoo, I was naturally pretty nervous. Jenn did a great job making me feel at ease and keeping me in the loop as to how everything was going. I had my nose pierced at a previous tattoo shop and it was a horrible experience, the guy put a huge nose ring in and my nose got so irritated and swollen from the hoop being so big. I came to Carmelo's and the lady who does piercings was very patient with me and made me feel very comfortable and changed my piercing for me. It looks and feels so much better. I have no words to express how thankful I am that I encountered this tattoo place. A few days ago, 9 of my closest friends and I called them and asked if they could tattoo TEN of us as a tribute to our best friend who recently passed away. They got us in on a whim. No more than an hour after we called. Many of us were getting our first tattoo and the artists were accommodating and patient. The environment was relaxed and they didn't seem bothered by the fact that we came with... an entourage of 15 people. As we were all mourning the loss of our friend who had passed less than 24 hours prior, the artists were comforting and were cracking jokes that helped us get our minds off of the situation. As for the tattoos, they all came out wonderful. They catered to us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and they never rushed the process. Thank you!! This is not the place you want to go for your next tattoo. The shop is not kept clean, and sanitation practices here leave A LOT to be desired. Throw in a general lack of artistic ability and lots of drama, and youve got yourself the disaster that is this 'shop'. Read Less
