I was really looking forward to getting tattooed by Stephanie when I saw her work on instagram. I commented on one of her pictures and she told me to come in and speak to her about my idea. I came in and told her about the rabbit I wanted in watercolor only to be given such attitude and to be brushed off like my idea did not matter. She didn't make any eye contact with me while speaking and didn't even make an attempt to get up from the chair to talk to me making me feel like she had better things to do then talk to a potential client. I've been going to Bullseye Tattoo shop since January of 2014. I wanted my shoulder tattooed and Victor was recommended to me by my coworker. Last summer I contacted Victor again and we extended my shoulder tattoo into a half sleeve with a similar theme. After my half sleeve was done, I decided to get my thigh tattooed and now we are working on a piece that will go from my underarm to my ankle. Victor has always been very upfront with me about what is needed for the tattooing process and what to expect. He has helped me find the content for my tattoos and also contributed content he found for the current large piece we're doing. Everyone in the shop is always nice and very funny. Got a few piercings done here and I would never trust anyone else to do my piercings. George made sure to walk me through the steps of each piercing, making jokes, to make me laugh and less nervous. He was extremely nice and pleasant and very gentle. He took his time to make sure I understood the whole process. He saw I was getting nervous right before, and made sure to stop, calm me down and make sure I was relaxed before piercing me.He even asked me if I want him to tell me when he does it or if I'd rather him do it without telling me when.He works through the piercing so fast and talked to me the whole time to get my mind off of it. Couldn't recommend this shop any more! Frankie did my tattoo and listened exactly to what I had wanted / didn't want. Super detailed, and you can really tell he puts his all into his art. My tattoo came out absolutely gorgeous and wayyy better than I could have ever imagined. The shop is super clean, and the people are super welcoming. Dom and Sonja were such sweethearts, and often asked me if I needed anything as I spent an entire day there. Even if I wasn't working directly with them, you can tell that they care about the experience of everyone equally. Awesome overall environment for sure. I can honestly say I will be coming back, and will be recommending this place and their artists to anyone interested in getting a new tattoo. Piercer is a joke. He is very miserable and killed the experience. He was told that he had another piercing after me and he visibly became annoyed and huffed and puffed as if this isn't his job. He called me a "production" because I was nervous for my first piercing, excuse me? I work in the beauty enhancement business myself as well, YOU NEVER speak to your clients that way especially when they are nervous, word of mouth is powerful. I was just recently tattooed here by Sonja. I came in with a friend looking to get a matching ems tattoo. The first thing I noticed was that the shop was extremely clean looking. Sonja took care of us and drew up something that we liked right away. Most tattoo artists I have come in contact with are full of themselves and act like they feel that they are above doing small tattoos. I got all my tattoos done at bullseye and now I Got this awesome original tattoo yesterday from Sonja! She drew it up for me and it came out sick! I just want to clarify that my review is not a reflection of each artist and Bullseye as a whole. I've always heard great things about Bullseye and I think each of the artists' work is great, but unfortunately their novice artist Sonja has an attitude problem that overshadows her work. I was hoping to make Bullseye the official place I get my tattoos for now on, but Sonja's attitude will prevent me from ever returning in the future. I guess her monotone voice and lack of customer service skills is just part of her personality. But she needs to remember, that she needs customers to actually get paid. I think she gets frustrated that she's a new artist, so she doesn't get to do large-scale tattoos, so when someone wants a simple tattoo she think she's above that. When I was waiting to have a consult with her one day, I watched her make fun of people who were interested in getting a tattoo. I get tattoo artists tend to have an ego, but she's going to have to gain more success before she can be like that. If I'm paying $100+ dollars to get a tattoo, I expect to be respected and feel comfortable around a person who's going to permanently alter my skin. If she keeps the attitude and poor customer service skills, she's going to have many boring years ahead of her of tattooing only infinity signs and roses. Read Less

I've received multiple piercings & tattoos here- & I've loved them all. Matt has been my tattoo artist for multiple tattoos & he's done a beautiful job. (Also, his "free-hand" lettering is pristine!) The staff has always been very friendly, comforting, & professional. Each time I've gone, they've made me feel so welcomed. I like how they have a completely separate, clean, & private room for piercings. They're always very sterile with all of their instruments too. I looked around for an artist and saw a few at this shop that had stellar reviews and instagram pictures of their work. Walked in and all of the top artist there had a 3-6 month. Obviously that means they are good and you cannot be upset about that. I did ask if anyone was available within a week or two. The girl sitting in the front Stephanie Kratzinel asked what i was looking for. I said i needed lettering as i wanted both my sons names on my forearms. She looked at me with this straight face like she didnt understand. Come to lean that is just how she is all the time cause her expression never changes. Anyway she asked for a non refundable deposit to book the appointment. Came back in 2 weeks and her Drawing was nothing like i had asked for. It was cool, i let her know i didnt like it and she said that she will go draw something else. Starts having me fill out a disclaimer where it asked about health conditions. I mentioned "It is not listed here but i have high BP, I dont take any blood thinners but just wanted to let you know, i am not sure if that is something you as an expert needs to know". She tells me i need a doctor to ok me getting tattooed although i already have tattoos  (they are visible, and i mentioned it).So there went my appointment. Now i go to the doctor and they said, "That is ridiculous, why would high BP stop a tattoo ESPECIALLY if you told her you take NO MEDICATIONS." So i never let Stephanie know, but i did message her and asked if she had completed the drawing she claimed she was going to work on for my tattoo.... She answered "no, i was waiting to hear from you". meanwhile on her instagram she had been posting all week about openings and other drawings she just drew and was offering up to anyone that wanted it... So... you took my non refundable money... did not give me the waiver when you took my money but on the day of the tattoo... added your own thoughts on sending me to the doctor when it wasnt even on the waiver form... said you would work on my drawing since i paid you for that time slot and never did.... then with all your free time just draw flowers and birds to offer up any random person that has not booked time with you? the expressions on your face when i described what i want... and your actions clearly showed that you DID NOT want to do the tattoo but you took the money anyway. Clearly the $60 is not that important because i never asked for it back, BUT when someone tells you their request for a tattoo, if you dont want to do it, why dont you try saying that... Hey I dont really want to Tattoo you or i dont like your idea, please look for someone else... I got my 2 tattoos done elsewhere, Thank you!This is not to put down the shop cause i follow all of the artist there and they have amazing work, but maybe someone should be monitoring what else is going on here. Decided to write a review since i've gotten over 30 hours of tattooing done here. Everyone commenting their so expensive and rude is not the case. first of all you get what you pay for. if you want to pay 40$ for a sleeve something is wrong. this is on your body forever you want it to be amazing work that you can show off. That being said i've gotten tattooed by stephanie, sonja, and frankie. all amazing artist who take their time to listen to their clients and do what they ask. They can get busy so if they don't answer don't take it to heart and shoot another text or email it's not that big of a deal. I follow everyone of the artists on instagram and their work is of top tier exellence. The shop itself is very well maintained and clean. The staff is very personable and fun to be around. I went for my first tattoo and didn't feel uncomfortable or intimidated at all. I had Frankie do a tattoo for me during his rose special and I am blown away by how much of the tattoo was completed during the first session. It basically looks done. He is an amazing artist. At first very professional service, very well attended. My tattoo was estimated to take 12 hours tops. It ended up taking 16 hours and it wasn't completely done. Ended up spending 3200$ plus tips. The tattoo lost half of its color within 3 months. Very disappointed. I used Frankie oneshot. From a 4hr session he might of tattooed 2 hrs the most. Took a 20 min break every half hour to text and smoke. A complete waste of money. And I'm the end the tattoo didn't come out the way I really wanted. After a great disappointment and complete waste of money, I went to INK COUTURE, and it took the artist 6 hours to tattoo the same thing that Frank took 16 hours and they fixed it to my satisfaction. I hate putting bad reviews but after wasting 3200$ it's not a good feeling. At INK COUTURE they only charged me the time that was on the timer. Read Less

They won't start a job unless you are 100% sure of what you want to do, and that you re 100% comfortable. They make sure to address any questions or concerns you may have. I got a tattoo from Frankie a few months ago.  I found him on INSTAGRAM and was like "oh, I need a tattoo from him."  Since getting the tattoo, I have had so many compliments.  I'm so in love with it.This shop is super friendly.  I think in the 4ish hours that I was there, they must have asked me 3x if I wanted anything from the store next door and made sure I was comfortable.I mean, for me to drive from freaking DC to Staten Island for a tattoo and say that I'd be willing to do it again, it's so worth it.  I keep Frankie's business card in my wallet just because I have so many people ask me about my tattoo. To see the way he prepared so well for my tattoo, how organized and on point he is with the way he runs his business and craft, is really refreshing. I see a lot of reviews about people crying about the prices or not getting their emails answered. Not getting a smile when they walk in .. Are you kidding me?- if you want a swift answer back, call the shop. - if you want good work, you will pay good money- if you want a smile, walk into a shop where they're not all simultaneously busy. Which they ALWAYS ARE. Now that my rant is done. I have 7 tattoos. 6 of which were done elsewhere.. And then my steady artist moved cross country. Well THANK GOD. After much research and recommendations I decided to go to Frankie Oneshot to do a koi piece on my arm. Well!!! So glad my artist moved otherwise I would have never discovered this gem of a shop. They are clean, professional, courteous, helpful, personable, and they have mastered their skills!If you want to go to some shop that charges $50 for a bad tattoo, this isn't for you. If money is that much of an issue for something that is permanent, maybe you should rethink getting inked altogether. However, if you to get impeccable work done.. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have made a customer for life with me. Everyone that stops me says, "the line work!" "The color!" "The technique!!!" They have it all. This is not a tattoo shop.
