Overheard a tattoo artist tell the other tattoo artist that he corrected a clients tattoo with plain water. He tricked her. She wasn't happy with the tattoo and he totally tricked her. So unprofessional. I hope the owner wasn't there because that is just bad business Read Less

I stopped in for my second tattoo here about two weeks ago. Dan had done the last one on my foot a few years back and was super patient with me, despite my twitching and nervous giggling. And Annabel did a great job with my wrist this time around. Everyone is very welcoming and there's a mellow vibe. Work is always clean. Couldn't be happier. Stopped in on a recommendation from a friend and met with Tommy, the owner. Showed him my idea for 3 different tattoos that I wanted. He stopped me immediately on the first one and said he wouldn't do it. Then he went on to explain why and why I wouldn't be happy with with it. He took the time to fully explain how to best make it work and reworked it himself. The lettering in the quote that I have tattooed on my arm now is so clear, so crisp, it almost looks fake. His attenti...on to detail and consideration into something that holds a profoundly deep meaning to me was astonishing. The shop itself is pretty cool and decorated with some incredible paintings. So it was my first tattoo. Annabelle is the artist. She worked with me for a long time on the actual design. She made sure I absolutely loved everything about it and where I wanted it. It hurt a lot and for my first tattoo, I probably squirmed around a bit. But she did a perfect job anyways. It was kinda big, so she did the outline in one session and then the shading in another. So I came here for my first tattoo, and I love it.  The artist did a great job and I do not regret coming here for it as I am happy with the work I received.  My issue with this place is how rude and unfriendly nearly all of the employees are.  I have been here numerous times, for my friends and for myself (tattoo, piercings, friends tattoos etc) and each time I am uncomfortable to even go in there because of the attitude I get every time.  Don't even bother asking a question unless you want to be insulted/made fun of for what you are asking.The work here is good, but just because of the attitude I won't come here again. Came here a few months ago to get a pretty simple tattoo. I said I wanted it "black and white" and the artist made fun of me because it's technically "black and grey". I should have left but I was in the zone and excited to get a tattoo. I was unhappy with the drawing he made at first and he huffed and puffed about having to re-draw it. Finally my tattoo was done and he put a shit ton of white ink in the flower I wanted to be mostly black after he mocked me and corrected me about saying "black and white". Long story short the guy was rude and I hate the tattoo that will be on my body for the rest of my life sadly.Will never go back- I have been going to electric arrow in Ronkonkoma and they are awesome I recommend it there Read Less

Tommy did an amazing job turning my ideas and vision into reality, art that I enjoy seeing on my body. It started with a C-section scar; I hated the way it and the way the skin around it looked. The scar will always be there, but now all I see is a beautiful design with flowers and scroll work. I loved the way it came out and how it made me feel so much I decided to have him design a tattoo for my leg. They both perfectly represent exactly what I wanted, the images are clear and all flow together. The lines are perfect and the detail is incredible, even the smallest parts of the bird’s face and feathers are distinct and well defined. If i Could give this place 10 stars, id give them 11......after a grueling day of battling prices and attitudes of other tattoo shops around Smithtown, did I find this little Gem of a tattoo parlor. (also, was referred by a friend, and later discovered that I had family come to this same shop for there tattoo artwork). just by walking in I could tell this was the place for me. Greeted by the nicest men, I began to show them my idea for the tattoo I wanted to get. it made me feel comfortable and excited knowing that they approved and liked my idea, Dan (the artist) was excited to do it.
