Love white tiger! Clean shop (which was very important to me). Had a very personal tattoo that I wanted done and my artist, Kent, did a fantastic job. I was nervous considering this was my first ever tattoo, but Kent did everything he could to make me comfortable. I waited two months for a consultation I was told when I made the appt. that I would be able to go over my ideas with the artist, I was told that at this consultation a 50 dollar deposit would be taken to set up an appt. to start the work. When I arrived 10 minuets early at my appt. I was greeted by the artist as if I was inconveniencing her, when I asked her to assist in some possible ideas ( since she is the artist ) it was as if I was bothering her. I had very specific ideas in my head that I wanted to share with her because I am not an artist I can't get them on paper ( that's the artists job ) when I shared these ideas her response was you need to know what you want you need to be sure. I couldn't have been more specific as to what I was looking for and I didn't appreciate being told that I wasn't. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated. I was turned away and told she did not do line work. I would never recommend this salon to ANYONE. Read Less

I've been a client of White Tiger for over 10 years now. I've also had work done at two other shops over the years....and I can tell you from my experience and watching friends and family that have gone to White Tiger - that they are the BEST tattoo shop to go to for custom work. TeeJay has created some absolutely amazingly creative tattoos for me. I've always been treated with the utmost respect and care - and their sense of humor (across both shops) makes for an easy sitting. I would never think of going anywhere else at this point. I have two tat's from white tiger and they are perfect. They do specialize in custom art so I am very confused about a previous review that said they don't do custom work. If you want to get a tattoo this is THE place to go in Rochester! Highly recommended by everyone I know who has ink.! Read Less

I saw the review on here that said that we had refused to do custom work - it concerns me as we are known for our custom art. The only thing that I could think of was that the client was looking to have a walk-in done and we did not have time to draw it and tattoo it in the time we had available. I'm not sure - but I can assure you that almost all of our work is custom and on appointments we are more than happy to create your tattoo to your specifications. I have 4 tattos from this shop. I love their work but I wish they would draw custom work instead of just working off a specific picture. They have refused to do any custom work for me. The staff are friendly enough and the place is very clean. Read Less
