I recently had to put my dog down. She was my best friend so I wanted her exact paw print over my heart. I checked a few other places and they were either dirty or way overpriced. I went to Steadfast and was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Ben is an amazing young man and his work is impeccable. The place is spotless, and the atmosphere is great. Ben’s price blew all the others out of the water. I will definitely be going back there for any and all future work. When I say my tattoo is the exact way my dog’s paw print looked I’m not joking. My sister and I went in as walk-ins yesterday and were immediately greeted by Erik. He was so nice and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable! We both got pretty basic and quick tattoos and were in and out of the shop in about an hour. The shop is very clean and we had a great experience overall. Have a quite a bit of ink but needed a fresh look so went to Erik...putting together a sleeve. I wear a cut and fly colors, so his work is eyeballed a lot. Great lines, ink is uniform, no flaring, love the theme, looking forward next round. Read Less

I went to Steadfast recently because I had a bad tattoo that needed serious covering. I was originally going to just get it touched up, which they were willing to do, but then ended up deciding last minute to get it covered. They were very patient, understanding, and helpful. When I decided on the cover up, Erik said he would draw up a nice tattoo for me and even let me send in suggestions to him. When the day came for me to go in and get the cover up I was a bit nervous about how it would turn out and what he would have drawn up for me. Upon arriving all of my fears instantly disappeared. Erik had drawn me a gorgeous flower and I loved it. He and Dewey had great attitudes through out the whole thing and I couldn't be more grateful. I now have a tattoo on my wrist that I can't stop looking at instead of one that I want to hide. I will be going to Steadfast for all of my tattoos for now on. Thank you guys! Read Less

I recently went in to get a tattoo here from Erik. He did an excellent job; nice line work, light hand, and it was all done in a very timely manor. He definitely had the skills I was looking for. The only problem was his bad attitude. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by wanting to change the designs he had drawn up for me. I wanted to make sure it would be something I would like since it's permanent. I've gotten four tattoos previously, so I'm no stranger to the whole process. I tried my best to explain exactly what I wanted my designs to look like, and he still told me I wasn't being descriptive enough. He even told me I was being difficult for not accepting the designs he had drawn up. It only took a few minutes to straighten things out and perfect the designs, but he made it seem like I was wasting so much of his time. Overall I am very pleased with the results, but not with the attitude of my artist. I will not be going back there, and will warn my friends of this bad attitude. Read Less

So disappointed. Went here due to high yelp reviews... First time there they were nice, artist was newer then another which made me nervous but continued. Needed a touch up much sooner then I would've anticipated, not even a touch up but just a fix for the disappointing look. All of a sudden the tattoo artist was flipping around everything she told me at the original appointment, which was ONLY 3 weeks ago! I'm technologically inept so I don't know if the photo I uploaded will link to this review.I was fine with anyone there doing my tattoo since I looked at their work online, but as it ended up, Toby did a really nice job.Even though I was just getting a pretty basic tattoo (all black, no shading, and I was picky about the design so I drafted it up myself), I wanted to go somewhere with good feedback because my last tattoo four-ish years ago was blurry looking like... right away. I'm glad I came here, will definitely come back for any future tattoos. The detailing is well done. And price wise, it wasn't bad at all. He was on the "mild" side for talking, but that suites me fine!The decor of the shop is also very nice -- clean and it looks like the "after" shot of one of those shows that do makeovers for businesses. I've had two fairly large pieces done with Erik.  In both cases - they were custom jobs.  Erik shared his vision and creativity for both and his talent and skill are obvious to anyone who sees what he's done for me.The shop is squeaky-clean and everyone there is friendly and accommodating... even the folks stopping in to just say hello to the staff.Erik - I still owe you a picture of the Coat of Arms piece on my forearm. My first impression of the shop was how clean and non-intimidating the space was.  I was a bit nervous because this was my first tattoo and I'd never set foot in a tattoo shop before, however I was put at ease the moment I walked in. I had called about 20 minutes beforehand to see if they would take me as a walk-in the same evening to do a small tattoo (a copy of my dad's signature on my wrist).  The girl on the phone said she could probably fit me in if I didn't mind waiting a few minutes while she finished up another piece.  So I made my way over to the shop, and was greeted by one of the owners (I believe it was Erik), who asked what I was looking to do.  I explained and he said it would be no problem and that Ashli would be able to help me out in about 30 minutes.  Waiting was no problem thanks to the easy-going atmosphere and abundance of artwork to admire on the walls.As far as the design goes, I had brought in a copy of my dad's signature to have tattooed on my wrist.  Ashli suggested adding a heart or something similar, and we settled on a cancer ribbon (as my dad passed from cancer).  She showed me three different designs, one of which was spot on and fit my personality perfectly.  Her work was efficient yet meticulous, and I am incredibly happy with the finished result!  I will definitely be going back to have Ashli design another tattoo for me - like she said, you get one and then you're hooked! I went in to Steadfast Tattoo looking get to get a sugar skull tattooed on my ring finger. This is NOT an easy tattoo due to the small size and amount of detail. The guys at the front desk recommended Erik for the job as he is known for his clean lines and attention to detail. I should also add that I am a gay male that does not have the usual "tattoo guy" look and everyone at Steadfast is super friendly and really nice!Erik was excellent and the tattoo is AMAZING!! I'd been searching for years to find an artist willing to finish a side piece of mine, to no avail - until a friend recommended Steadfast.  Right from the get-go, as soon as I walked in to make my appointment, the entire staff was friendly and very helpful.  The store is impeccably clean, which says a lot about a parlor - not just clean, but fresh.  Very, very sterile.I worked with Toby, who was very friendly and patient - the piece goes onto my ribcage, which is a fairly tender area, and every once in a while he'd stop his buzzing to ask, "How you holding up?" "Do you hate me yet?" always with a little laugh.  Toby didn't interrupt our session for personal matters, which has been my experience with most other artists - our time was our time.I'm can't stress enough how happy I am with the work he did either - the coloration he chose is bright, dramatic, bold and beautiful.  He really brought my favorite tattoo back to life - I will definitely be back soon!
