I didn't get the initial piercing in the Rochester area, but I wanted his help in changing out the piercing jewelry. It was quick and painless (it was fully healed for over a year so that helped). At first the owner is kind of cold and takes a minute to warm up to. But when all is said and done, he really does amazing work. My sister got her belly button pierced and she was terrified. I had a wonderful experience here yesterday! It's a very calming environment, all of my questions were answered, and concerns addressed. The owner is very professional, very clean with his piercing setups, relaxed, and funny. I wanted to get my daith pierced for migraines, and he was very honest in letting me know that I had no where to put that piercing. Excellent! I've gotten two done so far: nipples and daith. John is very friendly and knowledgeable, will only do what's best for you. When I did my nipples it was never weird or uncomfortable and he walked me through the whole process. I have a weird ear and he was able to get a very nice looking daith in for me. I feel like if you think he's rude then you're taking things a little too personally... John refused my industrial because he didn't think it was going to work and made me really think if I wanted to go through with an also difficult daith piercing, really appreciated. I have never been to this place before. I was looking for a new piercing shop since I have recently moved. I called, but the guy on the phone was very rude and condescending. Had an attitude the entire phone conversation. I felt like I couldn't ask any sort of question. They had good prices, just poor customer service/people skills. I didn't bother to go in after that. I've been a regular customer here for 8 years. My first, second, and fourth visit were for eyebrow piercings. I kept having to take the piercing out for work and due to my own carelessness the piercing would get infected and I'd let it close. John did a great job of checking for scar tissue before re-piercing my same eyebrow (2 times). I've never had any visible scaring from the eyebrow piercings either, and I'm a scarer due to my skin pigmentation. My third visit was to get both of my nipples and omg did I love those piercings. He was extremely professional and accommodating throughout the (more personal) process. The prices are amazingly reasonable and the aftercare is all very mild and easy to use. Quick and informative service, and very friendly. I got a barbell in my eyebrow. It only took about 15 minutes and I was informed on risks and after care very thoroughly before the process. I've tried going to this piercing studio twice-once to get my nose pierced and once to purchase body jewelry.  The first time I went was on a Friday night.  They are supposed to be open until 8pm but were closed around 6pm for no good reason.  Then I tried to go back today, a Thursday in which they are supposed to be open until 7pm and they were closed by 5pm.  I don't understand how this place stays in business or makes money if they are never open and do not follow a schedule!  I have heard good things about the studio but it's very frustrating when you go during normal business hours (especially after work) and they are never open!  It appears as though the owner doesn't really like to make money or something.
