I absolutely LOVE Sunday and her shop! She does amazing fantastic work! Sharp crisp perfect lines even with the tiniest of detailed parts. Her shading and colors are so smooth and look effortless. My husband and I have been coming to Sunday for over 2 years. She is thoughtful, creative and quite amazing. My husband started a sleeve and after finishing we have not stopped booking monthly appointments so that we can come she Sunday without missing out on her fully booked calendar.Receiving a tattoo at skinflower is like seeing an old friend. The colors are bright and welcoming, just like sundays demeanor and personality. It is a very comfortable place full of beautiful artwork created by Sunday.  I have never been to another tattoo studio like it.We trust her to create custom pieces and have grown to allow her creative license with most of our tattoos. I've been sniffing around Sunday's shop for a few years now, developing my idea for a branch on my inner arm. I knew from her portfolio that she was my lady, but it wasn't until yesterday that I was able to experience her hard work and her talent. First of all, her studio is amazing. Not only is Sunday an incredible tattoo artist, she also impresses with other mediums as well. The next thing I noticed about Sunday is her intuition. She was able to read me, grasp my vision and administer the concept into the most beautiful piece of body art I've ever seen (a little bias) having only just met me. I am so so grateful to have her in the Hudson Valley. She was a joy to work with, and my experience was nothing but positive.  I won't ever see anyone else. So, here I go to try to write a review about an artist whose talent is beyond words, be it on canvas, wood, plaster, vinyl, mixed media, or skin. She is superb. Her wonderfully creative and free-flowing imagination, are fully complemented by her eye for fine detail, striking composition, and beautiful use of color. I now have three tattoos, all by Sunday, and everyone who sees them comments on how beatiful they are. Even people I don't know. I too did a lot of research trying to find the right artist to do my first ever tattoo, which was an idea I had had for years. I live in south-eastern Virginia, so when a friend told me about Sunday, in NY, I thought that was way to far to go, and out of the question. But after more and more research, I finally gave in, because I could see, by comparing web-site "port-folios" and recalling my friends tattoo that Sunday had done, that I had to do the trek. So, if you want true art inked on your body, and not just any old tattoo, then Sunday is for you. Her artistry stands alone. She will bring your image to life. But not only is she the great artist, she's a great personality, interesting to talk with, fun loving, warm, and has created an welcoming, very clean and comfortable studio in Phoenicia, NY. I've had 2 tatooz done at skinflower, by Sunday, and I've never had more compliments! Truly fine art, and a clean, comfortable, creative experience. Sunday took my idea and went beyond any cosmos I could've imagined! I live in NJ, but the visit was great....get a tatooo, eat fabulous food (best veggie options!) shop around the quaint little town.... Next time I visit I will def have to go tubing before the tatoo!
