In all honesty, walking into this shop has been the best experience I've ever had walking into and tattoo/piercing shop, especially in oneonta. Pinky, Greg, and Tombstone have all carried out conversations with me and never once have been dishonest or rude to me. I've never had a bad experience with these guys and I will continue to come here for my piercing & tattoo needs as well as recommend them to others☺️ Not only is this the most friendly place, but it's extremely clean and sterile. I have been going to Lollipops consistently for about 8 years now. I have never had a bad time, or any issues with any piercings from them. Very clean, I even saw Greg sterilize everything, including the bottle of sanitizer afterwards. He was very helpful with figuring out the exact placement of the hole, and gave us direct attention. Personally from walking into other shops in oneonta, this is the only one that even looked up at us when walking in. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE FOR TATTOOS. If i could give this place no stars i would. I got a tattoo here with a guy named "tombstone" he was short lots of tatts and long hair. I went about a year ago and i have regretted it since then. I went on my birthday with my best friend. We both got infinity symbols together. I got mine in maroon and she got hers in red. First off we noticed that the tattoos were done horribly when they healed they were crooked and sloppy and smudged. Not only that but mine was excruciatingly itchy for months. Long story short i had to get the tattoo surgically removed because the artist used a color that many people are allergic too (didn't tell me this while offering this color) and he went so deep while doing the tattoo it went past my Epidermis (first layer of skin), past my Dermis (second layer) AND even into my **Hypodermis** which is your deepest part of your skin which has fat and connective tissue. This caused very bad and itchy keloid and scared my skin for life. I have gotten surgery PLUS i need to do major laser removal which is costing me 10 times what the tattoo cost. This is just my experience here. After telling people my story i come to find out they have had horrible experiences here as well. The artists are not professional, do not go here if you want a very nice well done SAFE tattoo. This tattoo ruined my life and they should honestly have their license revoked. DON'T. DO. IT. I needed a cover up, I spoke to Tombstone and looked at his book-was impressed with some of the pics he told me were cover-ups. Nice and Bright--just what I wanted! I got the tat. I could not use my arm for 2 weeks, I could barely move it at all, it hurt so bad.(this was my 15th tat, so I know how they should feel and heal) It has been 5 months and parts of it are still swollen. It looks like a black blob on my arm, yes it was a cover-up, but the majority of the black is not where there was a tat before. Parts of the original tat are still there and some are showing through. The only good thing I can say, is you can't tell what was there before. Hell you can barely tell what's there now. Needless to say, I will not be going back to have it finished. Read Less

Greg, was very rude. I stood there waiting for him to get off the phone for about 10 minutes. His attitude towards me seemed like I needed him more than he wanted me as a paying customer. If you're getting a difficult body piercing don't get it done here! I went yesterday to get my septum pierced and it was a mess! He put the needle in and everything seemed fine but then he started bending the piercing with pliers bc it looked crooked. I ended up fainting because of how disgusting the pulling and pressure felt from the pliers. When I came to, he told me that he would have to take the piercing out and re-pierce it at a different angle. He kept saying that my nose was a little crooked, but I think if he was professional enough and actually took a second to look at my nose he would've realized that before hand. He worked extremely quick. I finally gave him the okay to re pierce it and he did and I thought okay thank god it should be done now but no he brought out the pliers out and started bending the piercing and pulling on it and that feeling made me nauseous so I had to sit in another chair and throw up. After that he continued to work with the pliers and then he slipped which I thought he had actually ripped the piercing out of my nose because it felt extremely wet which ended up being blood all over. At that point I just said "Can you please just take it out?" and he did. When we got out of the room, I thought I would be getting all of my money back but nope! He said here I'll give you half back, so he gave me $25 of the fifty dollars I gave him, and I didn't even walk out with a piercing because he messed it up so bad. When I got home to see the placement of where he put the piercing it did not look right at all. I will not be going there for a piercing again! Read Less

The "artists" have no talent. Shaky lines, scratchy work - it looks like a child colored it in. My friend has been getting a tattoo done there and the artist, while reaching to get more ink, POKED her with the needle. How careless can you be? I'd rather go to Golden lotus and be treated like shit but get something decent than a trainwreck from here. Read Less

DO NOT GO HERE. The piercer is "self taught" and pierced my nose all wrong and at an angle and now i can't change my jewelry at all. This place is very unsanitary with a dog running around. I would never go back here again. Read Less

Greg the owner was a nice enough guy . He was the only Tatoo artist in the joint . We usually see "Tombstone" . 10 people came in ( separately) & interrupted Madie's tatoo . I had no problem with waiting for the first 3 , but we were on a time frame & it just became ridiculous. I thought it was very unprofessional . The customers should have just been told to wait . Again nice guy & excellent & conscientious artist as far as his work . I could tell he was meticulous even though she got 3 simple tattoos . But .... NEVER again ! I will make a point of asking my artist if he is going to stop & go for questions , phone calls & appointments . Get a " receptionist / assistant" is my solution . Read Less

I got my belly button piercing done here a month ago and it was so quick and pretty much painless. I was really nervous because I live on Long Island and am a first year student at SUNY Oneonta. My mom just recently got a tattoo here at the time so she had their number and sent them a text saying we came but they were closed. I have had my tongue done twice here, my lip done in two spots, and my septum. I absolutely love Greg. The shop is so welcoming and he definitely cares alot for his Customers! I had two dinosaurs tattooed a year ago by his old artist and just yesterday his new artist drew up an incredible back piece for me to fill in spaces between two old tattoos. It looks great!. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. I went in all happy go lucky and excited about it, then it went downhill from there. When everything was all set and I decided I wanted the forward helix piercing, he gave me only one opinion, a large earring, to use even though he told me he sometimes takes out an earring from a package of 3 if someone wanted a different size (sterility questionable). Then, I asked him about the "half off piercing" deal on his door for Monday's and Tuesday's. He told me that's only for appointment. So I asked if I could make an appointment for that moment, and he said no I had to come tomorrow or next week. I agreed to do that, then he ripped off his gloves and told me I'll have to pay for the gloves that were never used. During the entire process, I felt like a hassle and uncomfortable.
