I'm going to be as unbiased as possible even though this shop does not deserve that courtesy. Potential clients should be informed of how unprofessional this shop is. specifically the owner, Kris, who Is also the artist I was working with. I made an appointment in October 2016 to get a second piece done by kris and put down 100 dollar deposit for march 7th 2017. I didn't mind that I had to wait 6 months for an appointment. The day of my appointment which was scheduled for 5pm I receive a phone call by the shop at 440pm while I was on my way, informing me they had to reschedule because kris became sick the day prior. It would have been more appropriate for an earlier notice, but I respectfully accepted the outcome. The person on the phone told me the manager of the shop forgot to call me to cancel the appointment. He said he would call me later that day or tomorrow to set up a new date. Although I found this impressively amateur to forget about a client, I said thank you, turned around and went back home. A day passes by and I call the shop since they didn't call me. Same person picked up and said the manager would call me within a week to set up a new appointment. Dissatisfied yet again I said thank you. A week goes by, no call. I reach out to them and the manager picks up the phone. He said there was a list and they were moving people around and he would call me in a few days. A week goes by, no call. I call them back and someone else picks up the phone. I tell him I'm leaving for vacation in a week and want to get the tattoo before I leave. He told me it wouldn't be a problem and someone would call me soon. A week goes by, no call. I go away on vacation for the next week, which at this point makes it ONE MONTH total, and STILL no call to reschedule. I take the time out of my day and drive to the shop. The guy at the front desk starts looking through Kris' schedule, walks to the back and talks to her. He returns and offers April 19th at 7 pm. I accept the appointment enthusiastically, although I found it odd that the owner, who's also my artist, didn't speak to me personally and extend an apology for the multiple delays and lack of communication. A week and a half goes by, and my scheduled appointment for April 19th at 7pm (today) has arrived. I'm 10 minutes away from the shop and I receive a phone call I had a feeling I was going to get. The call from the shop, the person calling me was the same guy who rescheduled me a week and a half before and tells me he's going to have to reschedule me again. His reason and I quote " Kris left early." I bite my tongue, and I tell him I'm just a few minutes away and all I want is my deposit back, which had been given to them in October 2016. I get to the shop, no apology, no explanation of what happened, which I believe I deserve, nothing at all. He gives me my deposit back and I drive home immediately.I have never been so disrespected and disregarded by anyone. I hope you think twice before you try to make an appointment with this shop. They have talented artists, but severely lack any compassion for their clients. I feel ashamed that I have told people to go there and have even had a friend get work done by them. Never again. Completely incompetent, amateur establishment. Read Less
