Kyle was supposed to do my tattoo. I sent him an email 2 weeks before my appointment. He never returned my email until I called the shop. When he did return my email he advised he didn't draw anything up yet because he was working on other stuff and advised he would see me on my appointment. I went to my appointment and he showed me what he drawed and it was absolutely nothing like what I decribed in my email. I advised him that's not what I was looking for and he said "well I can redraw it or we can just forget it and go on our way". After that comment I felt like he didn't really want to do my tattoo at all but I advised he can try redrawing it since I had already put a nonrefundable deposit down. He went in the back to redraw it but it still didn't turn out the way that I wanted. So I tried to explain more of what I wanted and he said it wouldn't look right and at that point he didn't want to do the tattoo at all. I thought that was very rude and disrespectful. I've been to places before where they have worked with me for hours to give me the piece that I wanted and I felt like he just didn't want to put the work in. So I left without getting my deposit back, even though he didn't want to do the tattoo. Went over to Ink and Style (Nick Diangelo who was on Ink Masters) and showed them what I wanted and was advised it's totally doable. I felt like Kyle just expected me to walk in and liked what he drawed and he didn't want to work with me on it at all. Very disappointed! Read Less

Eric Goltz is the BEST artist I have ever worked with! My fiance and his sisters get all of their work done exclusively by him and I just started going to him for my most recent pieces. Eric is so talented. He really takes the time to create unique and beautiful pieces. His line work is great. I've had a few tattoos done in the past where the lines look smooth and thin, but then heal thicker because the artist is heavy handed. This doesn't happen with Eric. He takes his time and makes sure your work is perfect. I'll never go anywhere for tattoos ever again! Read Less

Dave macs shop is the shop Iv been waiting for to open in the FALLS.I started going there in October of 07[the first week they opened].The quality of work coming out of this shop is incredible.They do it all portraits,old school,flash,asian/japanese,tribal,new school,bio,and custom,all with class and originality.I have been tattooed by mike and Dave quite a bit and have always left the shop 150% pleased.Mikes technic of using no or minimal outline is awesome, giving it a look like its almost been painted on your skin.And Daves strong sharp outlines and sick use of vibrant colors and composition come together to make his work just come alive on you.WELL DONE GUYS 2 THUMBS UP.
