Miykey was the first tattoo artist I worked with and after my fifth piece (3rd from him) last weekend I can easily say he's the best artist I've worked with. He makes the experience as easy as possible. He listens to your input but isn't afraid to tell you what won't word. And his colors are some of the most vibrant I've ever seen. Add to this the fact that his tattoos, with the right care, heal cleaner than most. The shop itself is clean and inviting. I've seen several people arrange for walk ups while I've had work done and their needs are met within 2 hours. The prices are competitive with other shops in the area. I went in to Miykey for a cover up, he took my initial image and reworked it to best hide the existing tattoo.  It definitely turned out better than I could've imagined.  Cover ups tend to be tricky and challenging but i felt like he really rose to the challenge and made it a positive experience.  Miykey is professional,  passionate,  talented, friendly,  and works fast!!! What can I say.....  I've been around, have seen the other places in the Village, and there's not a single scratch shop I'd recommend.  That was until last night.I got a walk in appointment with a guy named Miykey.  He wasn't the usual arrogant, unenthusiastic quasi-artist I'm used to.  He was personable, liked my ideas, and was completely open to working with the sketch that I had.  I felt completely comfortable and at ease with him.  And to top it off, his work was A+.  So good I ran to the ATM to get a 2nd tattoo.  I'm happy I've found this shop, I will definitely be returning.  Good job all around, this place deserves a 5 Star rating.... and Miykey is the guy to see. My new hubby and I went here on our mini-moon to get tattoos together! We met Sweety when we walked in to get a feel for the place and to find out what their schedule was like and he was lovely and welcoming. We popped in the following day (Wednesday) and was introduced to Mark who took my husband's ideas and put his own spin on it and created an awesome piece for his calf. It looks awesome! Two stars for the work they did. But $200 for less then 15 min tattoo is crazy. Maybe it's because I don't look like a typical person who has full sleeves. Back. Chest and stomach done. So when I heard them asking each other under their breath  "what should we charge? 100, 150?,...200". I was a bit taken back. I asked if there is a minimum hour charge as most places do something like that. He replied " no, it's just by piece"  I'm happy with the work. Seems to be a solid artist for sure but seeing another review on here where is was $100 for 10 min... (Note, that mine was not original where they had to spend time drawing anything hard up)..Something feels off. There are such better places that won't take advantage of people like that.  Be warned. Can I just say, wow, such a great experience!!! I had work done by Miykey at the shop he worked at prior. He did my 2nd thigh piece here. Everyone there is very talented and a joy to chat with. I spent roughly 5 hours on a huge piece. I gave Miykey a rough idea of what I wanted and he went above and beyond and I was blown away with the results. They weren't terrible, but I don't think I'd go back. I came it with friends one night wanting to spontaneously get matching tattoos. One of my friends drew out a sketch of the design on a napkin, and they basically just took that and did it. They really didn't touch it up or anything, so it's a bit wonky. I mean, there's a charm to the wonkyness. it's not like one of us got some perfect, ornate thing and the others got crooked stick figures. We all got something a bit off. It just would have been nice if it felt like they put a little bit more effort in to it.They were all super nice guys, very accommodating. I think they charged a little much (we paid $100 each for what must have been 10 minutes of work each, including prep time), but overall it's a fun memory and I had a good time. Read Less
