I use to not care about the quality of tattoos and thought they all come out the same until I saw some hilarious horrible tattoos done. I've had my fair share of different artists and Andres is my absolute favorite. The art behind this man is incredible. The first encounter I had with him was at a tattoo convention at Nassau coliseum and I was iffy at first because I told him what I wanted over the Internet and it was my first time getting work done but I went there and we ba...nged it out. If you're wondering... It came out as a MASTERPIECE and is today still my favorite and most in detailed tattoo. We won best tattoo of that day (leg nautical piece) and I never looked back. Since then he's done my full upper back and will be doing more and more. The City Tattoo is the cleanest shop IMO and you never feel cramped in a small building. I suggest to all my friends and anyone looking for a tattoo to go to Andres even if what they want is not one of is specialities. Just because a tattoo design isn't one of his specialities I'm telling you when I say this... He will nail it and you will forever love it! This really is the best body piercing shop in the San Fernando Valley and los Angeles. The shop is amazingly beautiful and they have a large selection of gold body jewelry. I went to The City Tattoo Studio to get my first tattoo and couldn't be anymoreeeee pleased with the results. I gave him (Andres Hurtado, Owner) a brief general idea of what I was looking for and he came up with such a beautiful masterpiece and got right to it. It lasted 4 hrs. The whole place is a very clean and professional environment and the whole staff just makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Love love love this place.
