Females beware! The owner Glen comes on to every girl that goes in. He's a real creep. As far as the work goes, he keeps you waiting forever, without any apology, regardless of your appointment time. The one star is not for their work. They do good work. Unfortunately the owner, Glenn, is a pervert!!! He made my daughter very uncomfortable. He questioned her about her sex life!! I'm no prude, trust me, but there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to speak to an 18 year old about their sex life! It's none of his business. And he should keep his asinine opinions to himself. My daughter have long lists of the tattoos we want, but we will not be going back to Class Act Tattoo, they have NO class. The sad part is, we liked Danny a lot. Too bad he works for this guy. As usual, Glenn at Class Act Tattoo Studio in Middletown NY far surpassed my expectations. What he can see in his creative mind's eye is beyond my ability to imagine. And when that translates into a tattoo it becomes a genuine work of art. In this case he had to take the failed effort of a tattooist from my youth and transform it into something I am now proud to show off. If you live in middletown ny or the surrounding areas you will be hard pressed to find a better tattoo shop than class act. Very professional and the art work is amazing. I have went to other shops but this was by far the best experience that I have had. Shop is clean and the artists are very friendly. One of my favorites places to be is at Glenn Broker's Class Act Tattoo Studio in Middletown, NY!! A sense of peace and calm literally comes over me when I am there. How many people associate THAT feeling with tattoos!! LOL Knowing that I am in such good hands and is invaluable to me - you just can't put a price tag on that! I came in as a client desperate for help, not proud of the tattoos I currently had, and badly in need of cover ups. I was really distraught!! Glenn ...put me at ease immediately. The masterful art that Glenn Broker created for me definitely contributed to MY greater sense of well-being and balance!! Seriously! He is a true professional and an amazing artist, without the attitude and ego that you find in some tattoo shops. Glenn is down to earth. He really listened to me (an art in and of itself!) and collaborated with me to bring my visions to life on my body! I know that I really challenged him with some original ideas, and he more than delivered. That kind of talent is a rare find!! this place is awesome. i'm not from the area and was in middletown for work.  when i'm away from my home studio and i'm out on the road i'll get a piece done here and there.  i've had some good ones and some not so good ones. in fact the week before in new york i had a terrible experience, but was determined to make up for in middletown.  found this place just through reviews on google and decided to look into it. they are really busy so without an appointment it's tough to get in, but it worked out where i was able to get something done that week and i have to say it has been one of my best tattoo experiences ever and i've been getting them for over ten years.  the place is clean, the staff is friendly, and glenn's work is legit. don't even bother with looking for any other places. i would go back any time i'm in the area. I've gotten all of my tattoos at Class Act Tattoo Studio and love the work that Glenn does. My whole family also gets their work done here, and they all love their pieces as well. Starting going to Glenn over a year ago after searching shops around the Hudson Valley. I saw the work that he had done and decided to give him a shot. I was not disappointed at all. Glenn is a great artist, professional, reasonably priced and has a nice and hospitable shop. I now have a full sleeve thanks to Glenn, despite older tattoo's from some lesser tattoo shops/artists (*cough* Planet New York, Poughkeepsie). He did a great job incorporating what I had previously, into what I have now, I only wish I had Glenn do my whole arm from the start. I highly recommend any one in the Hudson Valley area to give Class Act Tattoo serious consideration if you want some ink. Read Less

Glenn Broker is a master of his craft, yet not at all intimidating. He has a presence that truly puts you at ease, and an impeccably clean studio. He and his sister Kat work together, and they are both true professionals, and true kind souls. I was feeling exceptionally vulnerable going in for a cover up.. embarassed, with some trust issues.. but knew very soon into my first consult that I was in good hands. A cover up is a complex task, even for a gifted artist. Both Glenn and Kat took me seriously, and I could sense they understood the impact this new original art would have on me. It was not an effort to trust them after I saw my drawing. He can also freehand effortlessly, and accurately, as seen first hand on my husband's sleeve, and part of mine, as well. Now I have a beautiful, precise and original back piece by Glenn Broker and I am so proud! The lines are just beautiful, and the design is so perfect, I feel he read my mind. Glenn and Class Act Tattoo are far more that your 'typical' tattoo parlor...Glenn is an artist and a gentleman and one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. I went to Glenn 4 years ago for my first tattoo. As a 1 year breast cancer survivor I wanted a tattoo on my back to protect me from a recurrence of cancer. Together we designed a beautiful butterfly with gossamer wings and the word 'warrior' beneath her wings...she has protected me well. Now a 5 year survivor I went back to Glenn last week and asked him to complete my breast reconstruction for me. I had undergone multiple surgeries to have breasts created after bilateral mastectomy, but the nipple tattoos that the plastic surgeon had done were badly faded - to the point where they were almost no longer visible. A boob with out a nipple is just ridiculous looking and so 'fake' looking! I explained to Glenn what I wanted and he admitted that he had never done this type of tattoo before but he was willing to give it a try. That was a week ago and I have to say, they are amazing and beautiful beyond my hopes. Glenn did his research and created anatomically correct appearing nipples for me - just amazing. He'll tell you he was just doing his job but I will tell you he made me feel like a whole female once again. More then a tattoo artist, he's a friend and a healer in my book!
