After one being messed up because I didn't do my research and went to a bad place, I wasn't about to make the same mistake again. Walking in I knew right away this was the place for me. Seth and Evan are insanely talented, and just awesome guys. Never did I think I would go into a tattoo shop and not see flames and skulls everywhere. Seth Markus, of Markus tattoo, is a true master of his craft. Not only is Seth a remarkable artist, with a demonstrably high level of skill in a wide range of styles, he's incredibly easy to work with. During the planning/concept phase, he consistently went well beyond the basic outlines and concept sketches one expects at each check-in. He was unfailingly positive in response to criticism and adjustments, and he clearly loves working with his clients. What's most impressive is his phenomenal skill in application. I had a large black and gray add-on done this week, which contained a lot of fine detail and heavy black shading. Seth finished notably quicker than I was expecting, the final result was incredibly precise, and I had zero swelling or soreness afterward, which is truly impressive for such a dark piece. As always, the area is a little sensitive to heat and friction, but I've never had a tattoo feel so good so soon after application. One of the best shops to go to. I searched long and hard to want to do my sleeve idea. I spent countless hours researching. A friend suggested looking into Seth at Markus Tattoo. That I did.
