I had two tatts that were done years ago way out east. I'd been toying with the idea of a third and started following this shop on social media a couple years ago - since I pass by it just about everyday in July and August. When I finally got myself together I called asking for Taryn - but with a wait of over 6 months, I happily set up a consult with Rebecca and WOW, best move ever!! I have been going to Salvation Tattoo for my tattoos since they opened their first shop in Oceanside, NY over 10 years ago. It is a family affair, my wife gets her tattoos there and my son gets his tattoos there. Their prices are reasonable and the work is always top notch. No matter where I go people stop to ask me about my ink and where I got it. My first tattoo by the owner is over 10 years old and looks like it is brand new. It is the most professional shop I have ever been in and I have been getting tattoos for the last 30 years. I've waited 10 months for my sessions to start for my back piece and I'm not upset about it at all. Taryn is amazing. Her work speaks for itself. Saw this place while walking by and it said on the door that they welcome Walk Ins, so I walked in. They were not busy, considering it was Saturday (Colin said they usually are, but he happened to have some cancelations today, or I just lucked out). Either way, I got what I wanted for a reasonable price. Colin did a great job and the place is clean and nice. Another girl who works there (don't remember her name) seemed cool too.
