If you want to go to a dirty, janky shop with RUDE "artists" this is your place. As soon as I walked in, some guy shouted "What do you want!" I've been going here for almost 20 years, tattoo artists are great and do amazing work. Piercing is a while different issue. Jess is condescending, rude and comes off as lazy. Got a septum piercing two months ago by her, I dealt with her attitude then. Went back tonight to see if I could get a double septum piercing, she said no...said that people don't get double septum piercings, they stretch the one and add another ring in the hole. (Uh really?! Not true!) Also recommended using gold in my piercing. Any knowledgeable piercer knows that surgical steel is the best option. Go to her if you want to be treated like a child, I however will not put up with that attitude. Also her lack of knowledge is concerning. Read Less

First of all, they were so patient with us, (we went in a group of three) even though we were all pretty nervous. We got two Navals and a helix, all in under 30 minutes. Very clean, she opened everything in front of us, changed her gloves and the paper on the chair with each person, and wore a face mask as well. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A PIERCING!! i got my nostril, belly button, and septum done here in that order. Nostril was completely fine, healed quickly and i've never had an issue. Bellybutton was pierced crooked and incorrectly- ended up having to take it out because of rejection. Septum was pierced EXTREMELY CROOKED... their prices are bs for their quality. honestly their staff seems super under-qualified and should not have their piercing licenses. Read Less

Get all my work done by Dave M. He has done a great piece on the right outside of my forearm. Reworked a piece on the outside of my right leg that turned into having my whole leg done from my ankle to my knee. With more work to come. And have seen a lot of work from Dave K. Had a great time when I went, but it was my first tattoo and I didn't know what I should be looking for. The woman who did my quote was talented and friendly, and at the time I lived how my tattoo turned out. 2 years later, in a new city and at a new shop, I was informed that the artist who did it used too big of a needle, and that's why my letters have bled out and gotten "mushy," the shading she had done is long gone. And I take care of my tattoos daily, and don't spend time in the sun, so needless to say I am disappointed with my first tattoo from this shop. Read Less

Got my first piercing here for my 18th birthday today & I could not have asked for a better experience! First off, I got $10 off because it's my birthday which is awesome. Then I had the most amazing piercer ever. Her name was Jess & she made the experience. She explained everything in detail to me, showed me all of the equipment she was using and how she would use it. Then she took the time to help calm my nerves before the piercing which was much appreciated. So then she did the piercing & she put the needle through & gave me a minute to process. Then hooked my jewelry in and I was all done. I started to feel lightheaded when we were talking and she had me lay down and got me water while explaining the after care. Had my first tattoo done here a few years back. I was charged $100 dollars for two lines of script on my arm. Six words, about an inch tall and less than four inches side to side. In other words, a fairly small tattoo that should have cost a lot less. All I had done was black lettering, nothing fancy. It looked like it was drawn on with pencil. The artist did not press hard enough and the tattoo was way too light. Had to have it completely filled in again after that to actually look like there was something there. being that my good personal friend dave cooper, who is a very good tattoo artist, works at express yourself... i decided to go there for an eyebrow piercing. i was very impressed that i didn't have to wait very long, i had previously had my eyebrow pierced, by dave, but took it out about three years ago for college- the girl that did my piercing was able to re- pierce my eyebrow in the same exact spot. there was some scar tissue but she handled it well and it looks the same as it used to. i am planning on getting my nose redone, and also getting a marilyn monroe piercing... i most certainly will go back to express yourself for both because i felt very comfortable due to how proffessional they conduct themselves. it will be soon that i go back for both of my other piercings... thanks so much to express yourself for being so caring and proffessional. i couldn't have asked for better treatment and i highly recommend that everyone considering any piercing go to express yourself to have it done.. even though i went there because my friend works there, i was well taken care of by his co-worker and will only go to them from now on...SERIOUSLY, i couldn't have asked for better, and i will be back for more... love you guys!!!
