Mike did my first tattoo over the summer and first of all, the experience was great. He made it really comfortable and easy. I came in with a screen shot of some other tattoo and he made it work for my ribs, and changed the style a bit to make it even prettier. Brevity is not my strong suit...especially when it comes to my experience with Jorge. Over the last year, we forged an awesome friendship. I am all about character first and skill is secondary. Not only is Jorge a special person, he has an extraordinary talent. What fuels that talent is his character. A consummate professional in every way. As for my experiences with about 10 masterpieces he did...Jorge's work ethic is second to none. Not only personable but takes his time. ...Never curt. A perfectionist if you will. The analogy that comes to mind...ever get a haircut that takes 20 minutes. Looks fine. Well Jorge would take 2 hours. And his strict attention to detail is amazing to watch. Jorge takes pride in his craft. Never rushes. I am just in awe at the concentration and skill set he is blessed with. What's more....if you come with a design in hand? I guarantee it will come out better. Trust his artistic integrity in allowing him to come up with something even more special. Back to what's important. I hope you all trust me in saying his artistic talent is second to none. What I really want to get across is 'the experience.' Cordial. Well mannered. Just a really good dude. I went to Mike at Ink Inc for my first tattoo and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and was willing to go that extra mile to make your art exactly what you wanted. That was five years ago, since then I've gotten tattoos from a couple other Ink Inc associates, all of them equally amazing! Recently, I went to the Saugerties location to get a piece done. So the guy was nice at first. He had me say how much I had to spend and charged me that which was way over priced. I had everything Drawn out the way I wanted and it looks like he messed up on purpose. I was super nice to him. I showed him everything and he was like yeah let's do this. I had to go to another tattoo shop to get it fixed. I showed the other guy the same thing I showed the guy here and he was like "wow he really messed you up, he didn't even try." I knew that it sucked. It was a very simple tattoo. The new guy I went to fixed it for me for free cuz he knew one of the guys here screwed me. I don't remember the guys name because it was a while ago. So hope you don't get that guy! My friend got a girl that works there and her tattoo looked good just be careful. I came here from Danbury CT because my friend from high school Jeremy was starting his apprenticeship and I got my first tattoo. Maybe being someone I knew helped, but I loved it then and I love it still! And I am happily returning Saturday for my second tattoo! Clean shop, great display of all their previous work, and a comfortable atmosphere! I drew my first tattoo myself, but I am returning this time and leaving the design up to Jeremy and I am sure I will be super happy with the results. Mike has done most of the work on me, and I'm grateful for it.  The piece on my leg is gorgeous, and still looks fresh and lovely like I just got it.My arm is the work in progress and he's added most of the stuff on it.I've grown to have a very cool and personal repore with Mike.  He's a friend and hanging in his chair is just as much fun as hangin' with my hairdresser (who I love!).Mike's shop is a straight up tattoo joint, big lounge area, two tattoo chairs in back.  It's clean.  The guys there are cool.  Mike always lets me put my own music on, and I'm always very comfortable in his hands.  I let his apprentice do a small piece on my arm, he was lovely, good guy, clean lines, pleased with the piece.  Just as I asked.  Mike is known for his B&W work, although I really like the color stuff he's done on me.  I'm sure I'll be back for more additions to my sleeve in progress.
