Mike is a good solid artists who makes his clients feel comfortable. The place is clean and there is also a "gift" shop in front selling band merchandise and other items. My girlfriend had two tattoos done at this shop and each time it was a clean and positive experience. The previous person who reviewed this shop has a copious amount of negative reviews from all over. Seems some people are extremely hard to please. I came here once a few years ago now but I always meant to leave a review. I found this place by chance after driving around the area looking for shops, and this one was the only one I found that was open. There was only one guy here that day and he took me without an appointment. He was really nice and accommodating even though I wanted something very small. My dad had just passed and I wanted initials in his language on my wrist. It was my first tattoo, and I really didn't understand how everything worked, but he convinced me to size up the tattoo and lower it down on my arm a bit. He was still worried about the letters running together and was really nice about trying to explain to me where the placement should be to keep it looking good. At the time, I just wanted the tattoo! But now, years later, I've sat with friends who've gotten tattoos of tiny cursive quotes across their wristbone and seen those blur into black blobs within days while their tattooist didn't suggest anything different, I've seen other friends wrist tattoos bleed out and look like messy bruises, and all sorts of unpleasant stuff. Not only is he a tattoo artist but he's my best friend. He does amazing work which many times I've been stopped by random people that I've never seen before just so they can compliment my work. He's been tattooing close to 30 years and does new tattoos, cover ups, whatever you desire this guy can do. BE WARNED!I was in there 3 months ago and got a bad tattoo, my friends recommended Graceland and I ignored them and went to this dump instead because it's close to my house and I didn't feel like waiting 3 months for an appt. Now I wish I did wait, he's not booked for a reason.....go with referrals and go with people who have a waiting list. I had a gut feeling once I was inside, the place looked unclean and the owner seemed a bit off. Lesson learned. Read Less
