It's been a long road to dedicating my life to Art and Tattooing. Now I can represent my self and my creativity to the fullest, without having to deal with employers and all the politics that go with it. I only hope to proceed forward, produce Art and be surrounded by a creative community.

Gosh where do I start?!? I was referred to Eric by a friend of mine. It was my first time getting a tattoo so I was pretty nervous and excited. I wanted a portrait of Jack and Rose from TITANIC. We had a consultation, and he gave me recommendations on size and also keeping it in black and white because he was concerned about the longevity of the tattoo. 5 days later, was my big day! Eric was extremely patient and very meticulous with his work! Sure it's painful, but him and I both care about the end result and he wanted it to be as perfect as much as I did! He's chill and friendly. We had great conversations! 7 hours later through all the pain, he created a spitting image of what I wanted. It's absolutely beautiful! I don't understand how he just did this piece of work without any signs of wanting to stop or getting tired or annoyed! He has a ton of patience! So I have to say, for this being my first tattoo experience, I'll never forget it! It did hurt so I'm not quite ready for another one, but if or when I decide to get inked more, Eric is my guy and I'm quite sure he knows that by now hahah! Thank you again Eric!

Ive known Eric before he opened his own shop. Amazing eye and talent; I followed him everywhere he worked. Now he has his own shop! Wonderful customer service and loyal clientele FOR A GOOD REASON.

Eric is the kind of guy that you want to do some work on you. The guy is very knowledgeable of what he does and makes you understand the whole process of tattooing from beginning to end. He enjoys what he does and it shows at the end of the day by his awesome work. Def recommend to anyone. Super clean, great music, friendly enviroment.

Found the studio in a very odd way. But that is a story for another time. Service was excellent and so was the conversation. I think I have found my artist and studio to do all of my future work. And fixing of messed up tattoos I already have due to being a sketch pad for apprentices. Very nice little shop with interesting flash and apparently the owner builds machines in house. I will defiantly go again. If not for ink just to pop in and say hi.

Never thought I'd say this about a tattoo parlor, but after our recent trip to this shop, I'm glad to have the Ridgewood Tattoo Studio in our neighborhood. After Rusty booked an appointment, I recently watched Eric work on his octopus tattoo for several hours.What he easily could have shrugged off as a casual retouch of an already started tattoo, Eric instead poured over 9 hours of extremely hard work into this awesome piece.Honestly, I loved this piece prior to Rusty having it reworked and previously encouraged him not to have it touched up. However, Eric did such a fantastic job on all of the details (defining the tentacles, doing a lot of free-hand work to extend and perfect the existing design), that it made me really happy that we waited all of these years to get the work completed.Eric did not rush any aspect of the tattoo and although he wasn't a chatty cathy, he just seemed like a really nice guy that had a lot of cool interests and background. In addition to obviously being a master tattoo artist, he's also got great taste in music!Rusty and I have visited a lot of tattoo parlors together, and honestly, few of them ever seem welcoming to me. I feel the opposite way about the Ridgewood Tattoo Studio. Eric is an exceptional artist that goes out of his way to do a job that you'll love and that he'll be proud of as well. I wish more tattoo shops and artists were like this (I'd probably have more tattoos)!
