I got my first tattoo from Pon a few months back and I'm already working on my sixth. I hAvnt always been lucky picking artist who was knowledgeable on dark skin people and had a few bad experiences which resulted in a few bad tattoos, So I wanted to consult before even considering getting another tattoo. I went to his shop while he was still building it and asked him a few questions about some ideas I had. In addition, I  showed him the other tattoos I had and asked his opinion on them. Being very respect but honest, Pon told me what he would have done differently, what was good, and what are somethings to avoid on dark skinned people. I told him about a few ideas for another tattoo I wanted and he told me what would work and wouldn't. Everything he said was on point and came out exactly how he said it would. When I got caught up in tattoos i saw online that was on fair skin people he said, "that isn't going to work to well on your skin tone but I can do something similar that will look amazing"...he delivered a tattoo that was so unique and so visual. I have heard of This PON DUDE who LOVES to sketch & make Pigeon related pieces so since I was BIG into the collecting Vinyl figures, Prints, & actual sketches in my ARTIST ONLY BlackBook lol that was it I was now a full blown vinyl junkie. I didn't realise how big of a collection I eventually had & so fast, so I was collecting so much & still am into collecting RARE/1 of a kind vinyl Figures to this day (if you wanna be a Dick about it because Tuesday I'll be 34 then call them TOYS) I have to say that I found the MY FAVORITE TATTOO ARTIST WHO I CAN TRUST, if you see his work you will be blown away.PON did the sickest tattoos on a bunch of big time artist & you know how picky we are lol so that was a MAJOR step on following his FB & whatnot ,BECAUSE I HAD A-LIST artist just going crazy on their tattoos they got s d couldn't believe the details & the clean LONG LINES which is HARD TO FIND IN A TATTOO ARTIST, SO MUCH ABOUT HIS SKILLS & THE SMOOTH FLOW HE HAS RIGHT OFF THE BAT.If you bring in pix or whatever to show him what u wanna get & wear you would like it placed, now he drew it & made the stencil then put it on but it don't look right to him but you think it's fine, he will tell you EXACTLY WHY HE MUST CHANGE YOUR ARTWORK AROUND A BIT, & THE IDEAS HE SUGGESTS ARE THINKS YOU DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE & EVERYONE has crazy ideas but he seriously sits & goes over & over the ENTIRE session your gonna have, you tell me if you know ANY chill tattoo artists who will tell their customers every single thing they want to know .I CANT WAIT FOR MY OTHER TATS FROM PON, because he loves what he does plus he wants you too be nothing but shocked and amazed with your tattoo, not like other shops that say "as long as customers leave with a smile that means we did our job"Because EVERYONE of the customers who left a shop with a smile or not from those on the whim shops are paying more to get PON to tattoo it the correct way.I feel EXTREMELY welcomed inside no matter who's their, I had my 22 year old sister with me and not one guy said ANYTHING close to perverted, I will say PON's shop is GREAT for ANYONE newbies, oldies, fullys, and ROLI POLI's with out HOLY MOLYS.FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO EVEN THINK ABOUT A CHEAP STICK N POKE TATTOO, just call PON say MoeDaHoe's YELP review MADE ME COME HERE, I don't get anything and not do I want anything for promoting PON's shop, because the good shops are here to shut down these horrible tattoo shops and if you save up whatever the man charges don't think twice cuz this is something you don't wanna live with something you HATE 4 life. & don't you forget about all of the FREE diseases you can catch faster than a common cold all because the shop closest to you is cheap, and when you pay for cheap that's exactly what they have as far as brand new needles, AMAZING COLORS etc....  MoeDaHoe doesn't have to lie for anyone or fill this survey out, I wasn't even asked about it at the shop from ANYONE, so I asked PON why I wasn't told about or even asked to write a review, and the answer is so true, I was told they don't tell ANYONE because it's practically telling them to do leave a review, but I want a review from someone who was SERIOUSLY that happy that they took time out just to tell the truth & rate the shop. I found Pon on Instagram a little over a year ago. What first drew me to him was his bold and clean work but what keeps me coming back (every couple months) is his friendly personality and ethical nature. He definitely puts you at ease and does his best to make you feel comfortable. I appreciate the time he takes turning my visions into pieces of art. Pon has done 5 of my pieces over the last year and I have referred him to friends and family.
