saw the reviews and decided to come here, told a story of how I recently lost a loved one and wanted to get something in memory of the recently lost. The woman that did my tattoo, did not introduce herself, told me to sit down, asked me what I wanted then gave me the price after we started.  I tried to make conversation and it was definitely clear this woman was having a bad day.She made it clear she did not want to interact in a friendly way at all. I felt a lot of bad vibes and now when I look at my tattoo and think about when I got it, I think about the unfriendly woman who clearly did not want to be at work on this day.  I felt rushed about my decision, even when I asked her to give me a moment to think about it. Best shop I've been to. Vaughn is a great artist and pricing is fair as well. There's a difference between tattooists and tattoo artists... Vaughn's a true artist and his work is nearly perfect! Especially his portraits and roses. His roses just might be some of the best I've seen anywhere. He is creative when building a sleeve with you, he can think of ideas I would've never thought of. Vaughn was awesome! He is a Great artist and a really good dude too. He was able to draw up a really nice replica of my wedding logo and put it on my leg. I put the invitation next to it and it looks just like the printed version! The review that the other person posted about it not being clean in this shop is TOTALLY FALSE!!! Worst place i've ever been to for a tattoo. Super unprofessional and unfriendly. I made an appointment a month prior with Vaugh AND put a down payment. When i showed up for my appointment he wasn't there and was posting pictures of him at the beach and at the gym. All at the time my tattoo was supposed to be done. Went in for another piercing, for my 3rd Helix. To finalize my triple heliex. I was a walk in on Wednesday and Vaughn was available. I was happy to have had him, not only was easy going he was helpful with the placement and actual act of piercing. The one he did is the lowest one with the stud. He changed out my other two to make the look more complete. We also chatted about what types of tattoos he specialized in. He said he does everything but he enjoys realism. I've been throwing around an idea for a while and I looked at his portfolio and seemed pretty good. He has a lot of good reviews on Google and Insta. I book an appointment with him. I'm a fan of the art, owner is really good at what he does, the other artists are pretty good too, was there recently and noticed their customer service has gone down, the guy in the back I think his name is Kevin didnt even come to the front, the two girls were doing everything, he seemed to not want to be bothered, maybe cause the owner was off, also noticed they need to hire some kind of cleaning service, the shop is filthy, floors are crawling with dust bunnies, the bathroom is disgusting, all in all I think the shop just needs a good cleaning, looks like a health risk, and the guy in the back and the girl on the register weren't even busy they could have been sweeping or moping. Went with my sis to get our tragus done. Vaughn was calm and friendly. He was patient and answered all of our questions. I got both of my tragus pierced while my sis got second lobes and one tragus done. He made it a warm experience with all the reassurance to cool our anxiety. (Reading horror stories the night before wasn't a great idea) It was quick and not that painful. I was surprised bc I had a bad helix piercing at a diff tattoo parlor. Went here to get my first tattoo ever last Friday and I was so so so nervous but my artist and the environment of the place made my nerves go away. She took a picture of a mandala that I liked and created a masterpiece. She is a true artist. In addition to my tattoo, she did one for my daughter on her foot. I got my tragus pierced last night. I felt NO pain what so ever. The piercer Knew what he was doing. I'm going to be going back to get the other tragus done as well as my smiley pierced. The shop was very clean(front and back of shop) EVERYONE was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was mellow, good vibes and was claiming. It was my first time going there ever and I was drawn in because Vaughn does fantastic work and I followed him over to his newly owned shop. It's a nice shop and kept very clean. I've been to a few different artists all over and honestly, after I went to Vaughn I know I'm not going to anyone else.  Vaughn started and finished my thigh tattoo here and blows me away with his work. Before i say anything about my tattoo artist, if anything go in just to sit in that couch /  arm chair in the corner.   It is perfection. Ian  did my tattoo tonight and he is a true artist in every sense of the word,  My tattoo came out perfectly.  Not only was he polite, well mannered, and patient with me and all my requests but he also made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole process.  It took him about 10-15 min to set up the room which made it clear to me that he was taking his time, making sure that everything was clean and safe to use.  The actual tattooing did not take long, as i had gotten something very small. What is important though is that I know what he put on me was original artwork, something that can not be duplicated.  He did not print something off the computer and screen it on to me, he took the time to draw it out and present it. The decor is just amazing, with wine colored walls, beautiful chandeliers, velvet furniture, dark wood floors and artwork to die for. Very inviting.The staff is beyond friendly, and very cool. They make you feel at home.I am in the middle of a huge back piece with Scarlet Sinclair. Now, I have a fair amount of tattoo's and have been "inked" by a few people in my time, but Scarlet has the softest touch! You can literally fall asleep in the chair because the environment is so relaxing and her energy is just so calming.
