Super fun but relaxed shop. World class artwork by outstanding artists who care not only about the work they do but also the people who they are working on. Chuk is an outstanding talent who has cultivated his skill over many years. I constantly have people approach me to ask about the work he's done on me when the weather is nice and I'm wearing a t-shirt. What they don't usually get to see are the two fantastic chest plates he's done with custom art he worked with me to perfect before ever putting needle to skin. What most people don't realize, unless you're picking a piece of canned flash art off the wall, like at most places, (which you will never want to do again after working with The Mighty Horseman crew) the preparation and collaboration between customer and artist beforehand is as important as the inking process, and The Mighty Horseman Tattoo Co. Excels at this and all steps of the process. Whether you're a seasoned canvas or a first timer you simply can not find a better shop in the world. It shows that they really care about their work and the people that they are putting the art on to, some places are more interested in getting it finished and getting you out of the door but these guys make it a much better overall experience. First and foremost, one of the coolest and best decorated and tattoo parlors I've ever been to. I'm currently working on a full sleeve with Anthony Guido, and he's the most creative and talented artist I've come across. If you're planning on getting a large piece done, definitely go to Anthony. I've had some sketchy work done in the past because I was in a hurry to get it done. You might have to wait to get an appointment, but there's a reason, he's good at his job. Before getting my work done, I went to a few more of the popular spots in Westchester before I found this place online. The shop is incredibly clean, staff is very fun and professional and ultra welcoming to first timers. I had a great time through the entire process and absolutely LOVE the work that the artist, Joe Troy did. I loved it so much, I went twice! The shop has a great fun and geeky vibe with no loud or obnoxious music. It's very laid back and even relaxing. Joe did my tattoo, and I couldn't be happier. He was wonderful to work with...he listened to what I wanted and never once made me feel uncomfortable or worried. I got a huge tattoo on my calf and he has a nice, light touch. The shop also has the best healing wraps ever, the same kinds that are used on burn victims.He's also easily accessible. I've gotten a few tattoos over the years. A few months ago I was looking for someone new to do some new work for me. Found out about Chuk at The Might Horseman and couldn't have been happier. Now a few months later and I was ready to get more work done so went back to Chuk. He totally nailed the design I wanted and the placement. I wanted to have the new art kind of blend with my older stuff as well as cover up an old tat and it was hard to explain, but he completely got it. ZERO STARS!!!! So I went in to the parlor & asked to have a very small finger tattoo that I had previously had done somewhere else 2 weeks ago, to my dissatisfaction, more brightly colored than it had been done.  I was TOLD that they don't work on any other artists work as to not step on toes.  Seriously??  It's a TINY finger tattoo.  Who's gonna get their feelings hurt? So good for you Mighty Horseman, you just lost a potential future client. Btw, I'm a curly hair artist & I NEVER turn away a screwed up haircut as to not step on toes. I had gotten tattooed by chuck twice. He also did a piercing for me. He did a terrific job with each one. The manager Mel is warm and friendly and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you arrive. Chuck was patient, competent and the final products for both of them were outstanding. He did a great job in capturing the essence and spirit of both pieces. Both tattoos and the piercing healed very quickly and I am constantly getting compliments on them. Very affordable and fair prices.
