One of the worst places to get a tattoo. I got mine done years ago by the owner. The work is done very poorly. He used a thick needle and scarred my skin. The tattoo blurred up badly and my skin is raised in certain spots of the tattoo. It's very similar to the photos posted by other reviewers. Im so glad that I have it in a hidden spot. I went there to get a tattoo. One guy with beard was there. He was not welcoming. Getting a tattoo is a big thing but his attitude is worst. I have never seen a guy with such attitude in my entire life. I asked where ur samples are so that I can look up and have idea he was like it's outside. Literally the worst tattoo shop I have visited in NY and I have visited about 20 and been tattooed at 15 of those 20. This shop has the worst costumer service. The brown guy will not give you suggestions on your tattoo because that should be your own decision, what? Bro, you are the artist - just tell me what you think. Nop! They also will not start drawing until you pay and there are no refunds. This means if you dont like the drawings they come up with, they will redraw over and over until you like it but of course charge you extra if you ask to redraw more than twice. On top of this, the asian dude seems more talented given all the pics of "his" work on the walls. But he messed up on a simple little bike my girlfriend had tattooed on her wist. I walked in to check price , I have been wanted a tattoo for the longer time. I walked out with 2 tattoos. Price very reasonable and excellent tattoos artist (YOUNG). It only took 40 minutes to get it done , which in other places they have told me 3 to 4 hours. Highly recommended. My first tattoos and I am in love. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I was recommended this place by a coworker. This was pre Yelp (or at least when I started using yelp) so I trusted this persons recommendation. This was easily 5 years ago FYI, but the people that work there are pretty much the same. I went to go get my cheeks (dimples) pierced. It took quite some time for the piercer to set up and he add to ask another person working there a lot of questions, that should of been red flag #1. Anyways, he grabs the jewelry which was the size for a healed labret. I remember commenting that the length of the labret was way too small to be put in cheeks, but I was reassured that it was the right size. I'm not a piercer, I don't have experience so I assumed he was right. When he pierced my cheek he stopped midway, waited....and then followed through. When I say waited he took his hands off the needle and then went back in. Never has that happened to me, every piercing was a quick slide through the skin.Regardless, I know after piercings there's some pain and swelling(especially cheeks because of talking/smiling). What I experienced was different, not even two days after getting them pierced I had to come back.....guess why? The jewelry was way too short and my cheeks were swilling them. Now I understand piercings swell because of the trauma to the area but I knew before I was even pierced that the jewelry was way too short. So short that they don't even sell this length as a standard labret jewelry size in most body jewelry places. Their solution? To put ptfe plastic in my cheeks to heal, which once again wasn't recommended AND I had to pay even more money. Cheeks take a long while to heal due to movement of the face while talking/smiling but what I dealt with was different. I ended up on antibiotics because shortly after switching to ptfe I had a terrible cheek infection. Never with any piercings, even ones I did myself when I was younger (stupid I know) got infected. If you are looking to go to a tatoo shop that has friendly service/staff and are looking to get a awesome tatoo DO NOT COME NEAR THIS SHOP. This place is a total rip off came here to get my FIRST tatoo done a week before my birthday in middle of April 2017 and it was a big mistake! The host or whatever is rude, i was charged $120.00 for a simple small tatoo on my arm with no color i just wanted it black and my tatoo is blue. My tatoo's color had bleed from the lines and it has an undertone of blue which I'm very concerned about. I regret coming here and supporting their shitty buisness! Read Less

Got a tattoo here earlier today and I'm extremely happy with it. My partner and I walked in and were able get a tattoo and a piercing done. The piercer (who apparently is also an artist) worked with me to draw a piece that was exactly what I wanted. He re-positioned the tattoo a couple of times for me before handing it over to Mr. Young to work on. The piercer also pierced my partner's nose, and they're happy with his work. I wanna begin this part by expressing that I LOVE how my tattoo came out. It looks almost identical to the photograph that inspired it, has beautiful shading, and was exactly what I wanted. Mr Young works quick and is very efficient. One complaint I have is that he is heavy-handed when working. Also, when he cleaned the tattoo I felt that he didn't use enough lubricant/liquid on the paper towel, which caused more irritation on already very raw skin. And like other folks mentioned, Mr. Young doesn't seem like one for conversation; he didn't say a word while tattooing. Thankfully my partner was allowed with me in the back and kept me company. Overall, good experience. I would come back for another tattoo, although I personally prefer when the artist is more talkative. They also played classic rock in the background which is a plus for me. I can't say enough good things about these guys. No pretentious "I'm a big shot tattoo artist" attitude that is common, just a couple of chill guys making good tattoos. They're were attentive to my requests and told me what would and wouldn't work with the piece I wanted and I ended up with a sweet tattoo. They aren't the most talkative guys out there and some people may see that as "rude" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. When they get going they're hilarious. Read Less

I'm glad I checked Yelp before getting my tattoo done at this place. The guy was rude and made me feel like he didn't want to be there at all. The sketch he drew of the tattoo I wanted was hideous (a 5 year old could have done a better job) and when I asked to see other tattoos he had done he just pointed to the other room.. the room was full of drawings and pictures, but I don't believe he drew and tattooed all of that. Finally I was like "well those pictures look good and I'm here so why not?" and then he asked me and my friend for ID, but my friend didn't have it and he refused to get her inked. I got my industrial piercing here and he was no help, when it started bleeding he said "it'll stop" and was in a rush to get the next customer.I got my snake eyes here and he didn't even use a clamp or the right size ring therefore it's even more swollen, too at the tip of my tongue therefore I feel like it will push itself out and I might have nerve damage. I got my second lobe piercing here back in November. I was so excited because I had waited a while for it. The guy was nice enough, but my piercing got VERY infected. I cleaned it everyday as instructed, and I've had a total of 6 ear piercings so I know how to care for them. I had a huge growth filled with puss behind my left ear and had to drain and clean it every day. The earrings they sold me weren't even decent quality. They had started to tarnish and go bad while still in my ear. The whole situation was just awful. In the end, my piercing ended up being so damaged that I just let it close. When I get it redone, I'm not going anywhere near this place.Read Less

Came here to get my nipple pierced last year. I don't remember his name but he made it fast and he didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. I got me septum pierced by the same guy. He was so friendly and asked how was my nipple piercing was doing. I highly recommend this place for piercings. As far as tattoos, I'm not sure.
