Went to go get a piercing here & piercer Mona would not pierce how me, as the customer wanted my OWN ear pierced. Had a piercing from a different shop from years ago & wanted a matching one above it. I told her exactly what I wanted & after being very opinionated, piercer states that she was not going to pierce it how me, the customer, getting MY ear piercered, wanted it. After stating I didn’t want it her way, she continued to argue stating she had sooo many years of experience & wouldn’t pierce it the way I wanted. Left the shop & after leaving could see Mona consult with her coworkers about the altercation. Very unprofessional. Would NOT recommended if you want a piercing how YOU want your own body peireced. Mona has helped me the past 2 weeks with my new piercing. She always makes herself available to help you when she can. Thank you Mona for doing everything to make my piercing comfortable and as painless as possible. The tattoo artists should not go unnoticed either. Every single one of them are beyond helpful and very polite and nice. As soon as you walk through the door they stop what they are doing to greet you. Jeremy has done a few of my tattoos and he is so fun to talk to. Sereph did a tattoo on my boyfriend and he's pretty cool too. Stephan is also awesome as well. Mona did some piercings for me in January '17. I am not local to the area (by 6 1/2 hours) and had some questions/concerns here almost 6 months later. I messaged their page and she responded immediately. Made herself available for me to go over my questions and re-assured me all is normal. I had an awful experience at another shop and a friend recommended Black Sea. The atmosphere is clean, friendly, and professional. Jeremy did all my work with more to come and I am thrilled with the results. He covered up a terrible tattoo and it made it look amazing. The prices are not exorbitant and the shop is comfortable and fun! I wish I had gone to Black Sea first but I am slowly having all my old tats fixed and looking like I hoped they would. I couldn't have had a better piercing experience! I walked in and immediately was greeted by a warm, friendly smile and I immediately felt welcome. The entire shop was spotless and clean, yet warm and inviting. Those working had gloves on, hair pulled back and were very professional. Mona walked my friend and I through everything she was going to do and was very clean, polite, professional, personable, knowledgeable, funny, and just had over all good vibes. My de...rmal anchor didn't hurt at all, there was a pinch and the worst part was the insertion of the anchor but only due to the pressure. If I ever get another piercing it will be by her and future ink will most likely be here as well.
