A while back I went in to have my industrial pierced, they left out that the guy piercing me was an apprentice. He pierced it a total of 3 separate times. Claiming my hair was the problem, the shape of my ear blah blah blah. The end result was extremely bloody and ill placed. The piercer joked and said that I "looked like the part in the shining when the elevator door opens and all that blood pours out". After about 2 weeks my ear had doubled in size and I had a high on going fever. The doctor ordered me to take the piercing out as soon as possible and as soon as I did I immediately felt better. I got an industrial piercing here and the placement was so awful I had to take it out. My nose piercing placement was slightly less awful but still bad it's so crooked. Please pay the money go to someone who knows what they're doing. You only have one body, take care of it and go to an app member. It's worth it I promise you. Read Less

Went to this place to get a tattoo on a whim with my friend- simple black and white outline. I am now staring at a jagged, poorly drawn imitation of what we wanted- the dude didn't take his time, seemed like he was quick to get us out of there (he mentioned he had plans that night upstate) and the best part is he charged us 100$ each for an extremely simple black outline tattoo. And to add to the absurdity, there's a sign in the waiting room that says "a cheap tattoo ain't good and a good tattoo ain't cheap!" - and here I am with an expensive tattoo that looks like crap. Got my nipples pierced and they hurt like hell (which is expected).  I messaged her a bunch of times about issues I was having with them and she never answered me, but read them all. when I went to another piercer to get them checked out...they were pierced with the wrong bar, wrong length bar, and way too deep. My rating is based strictly on piercings not tattoos. The piercer is VERY ROUGH, works very fast and with no concern for pain customer is feeling. I felt this way during my piercing/after and when I had to go back because she didn't tighten the balls on my barbell piercing tight enough and one fell off. Yes piercings hurt, but I've gotten them before-there's ways to cushion the blow, or at least make your customers comfortable. Not here. I also got my second hole pierced, not only is it too close to my first hole so I can't even wear earrings in both holes at once, she pierced it crooked. Not even close to straight. While looking through their extensive photo collection on Instagram, I found some other fans of The Weeknd like myself who had gotten the XO logo tatted on them.  It was a no brainer, this was the shop I'd come to for my tattoo.  I sent the shop a message on IG to get a gauge of the price range for the tattoo I was looking for, and they were very reasonable.  I walked in on a Thursday evening, around 8PM.  The shop wasn't very busy and they set me up to be worked on by Max. After completing my paperwork, I waited for about 20 minutes or so before I was brought into the back for my tattoo.  The room was clean, the equipment was all brand new.  Max was very friendly, and chatted me up the whole time.  The tattoo is pretty simple, so it took about 20 minutes or so to complete.  My only reason for knocking one star off is because Max quoted me higher than I was quoted on Instagram, but he was nice enough to honor the quote I was given.  That could potentially lead someone to believe they are being overcharged, considering how quickly he accommodated me. Other than that, all of the guys I met there were super professional, and friendly.  Kristine (the resident piercer) has actually pierced me 2 years ago, and I'm alive and well - so I cannot agree with another review I saw here from my experience. I had a cover up done on my upper left thigh by Gus and it's fantastic. When I was 17 I got a stupid mushroom tattooed on my thigh and asked Gus for a guarder with a gun, the gun Handel being the cover up Part. The gun had to be big to properly cover the mushroom but it's actually not as big as it looks in the pictures. I get complements all of the time. I got the tattoo about 5 years ago. I posted this now because I see the bad review for the piercing, all I have to say is with everything there is risk and this girl obviously has something like a blood vessel somewhere most ppl do not and had issues. I have wanted my belly button pierced for so long and was always scared to do it after my sister got an infection from a different tattoo shop. I went in without an appointment on a Friday night with my sister and boyfriend and they gave me all the paper work right when I told them what I wanted. The tattoo shop itself is very clean. Kristine took me back marked it to make sure it was straight and pierced me. She made it a very quick and simple process. She even gave me fun dip once I was done and made sure I was feeling okay and it was not rejecting. When I sent her a message about my piercing she answered very quickly and asked to go see it to make sure everything was fine. got a tattoo with my friends 2 months ago and the artist literally did not care. our tattoos match but they aren't even with each other. he made it all crooked and it ended up fading really bad (half the tat was basically gone) i eventually went to another tattoo shop in my neighborhood to get it retraced but i am still disappointed that my first tattoo was kinda crappy. I had a wonderful experience getting my first tattoo. I went on an extremely busy day as part of one of their promotions with a friend of mine. The staff was so nice, and did their best to make sure they could see as many people who wanted to get a tattoo. Matt did my tattoo and I absolutely love it. I was given clear aftercare instructions and he answered all my questions. I also recommended Kristine, the piercer, to a friend who had both of her nipples pierced. Ive been a customer of Gus for a few years now I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the work ive gotten and the compliments I get on a daily basis on how beautiful the work is, I will not go to another artist. As for Piercings Kristine is such a sweetheart and makes the piercings feel as painless as possible especially talking to you as she's about to pierce too distract you. I've had my Nipples done and they healed perfectly fine even the one that is inverted. My dermals I've had redone a few times from MY Stupidity and they heal fine until I fuck em up again. Really disgusted with this place. My friend came here for nipple piercings and ended up in the hospital. Four professionals say it wasn't done right, as she almost bled out. Piercer and shop owner were not sympathetic to her situation at all. I believe it was the shop owner who was bad mouthing her on his own Facebook because she left a bad review.  They still made money off my friend who now has no choice to remove the  piercings and pay a large hospital bill. There has also been a lot of 5 star reviews written on their Facebook page just after my friends review went viral.. Seems fishy to me. They're trying to cover this up. I have been going to Gus since my very second tattoo which was about ten years ago and I've never gone to anyone else since! He's changed locations and I have loyally followed.
