Me and my friends called to see if they were able to take walk-ins. We spoke to Conor and he told us he was busy at the moment but would call us at his first opening and he did just that. When we arrived to get our tattoos Conor was able to draw something up for us and do our tattoos right away. He was cool to talk to and quick. His work is amazing! Definitely recommend this place! Myself, my wife and my sister in law went in for tattoos. Our artist was Conor. First off, a great guy. Personable, funny, friendly and just the type of guy you'd like to hang with. His work...clean lines, fast, great freehand script, and overall great work. Shop... clean, organized and very comfortable. I was so excited to get a tattoo today. I wanted a small tattoo on my wrist, simple...well it should've been. Conor took care of me and he was straight up rude to my friends and I. He was calling us basic white girls, said my tattoo was a "basic white girl" tattoo and he is good at "basic white girl tattoos", turned on some "white people" music whatever that means. I didn't come to hang out and listen to music?? He called my friend "blondie". The worst part was when he asked what my other tattoo I have says. His exact words to me were, "What is that shit on your other wrist?" First of all, it's a tattoo for my grandpa who is no longer here anymore so at that point I wanted to cry. He was BEYOND disrespectful and not professional at all. I've never been here but I will not be coming back. I won't go somewhere where I get made fun of. I'm just happy my tattoo turned out good. The tattoo shop is clean and very nice But the tattoo artist Steve has a very nasty attitude never finished my tattoo stops and million and one times during tattooing session to smoke cigarettes meanwhile they charge a 100. by the hour I paid 350. For an unfinished piece now going on two month it's still not finished and he said he would give me back 200 that Friday it's now going on 3 weeks and is refusing to give me my money back and won't take my calls I'll be taking him to court 💁🏽 And I only gave it a start to post review Read Less

I have been getting work done here since 2003. Love the atmoshere and staff. Very casual environment which is great for those long tattoo sessions. All of the artists have a speciality and seem to help clients find the right artist for that piece. When people ask me about my sleeve I always tell them to go to Renaissance. Read Less

Started coming here a few years back in college, got a few smaller pieces. I would often pop in on my way to campus and the staff was usually busy working away but was always quick with a "hello" and "how are you?" After graduation I rewarded myself with a sleeve by Tom who took my ideas and turned them into something really amazing and one of a kind.
