Gotten tattoo's from both Mark, and Frank. I know Frank from back in Chicago, and have gotten tattooed multiple times at his old shop, Great Lakes, in Chicago. He's the man. Good at what he does, and mad creative. He told me his idea for a tattoo I wanted, and I ended up getting something 100% different than I was picturing before coming in--but that's the point of tatooing right? You trust the artist. Trust Frank. Came through.Mark is one of the cleanest out. Period. I know most tattooers have so many un-written rules about what you can and can't do in a shop, and questions you can and can't ask. As a result, I was weary to ask him to draw up a design based off of his wolf head flash, but to make it look angrier, and have it crying tears. He didn't bristle at the idea at all, just said "Got you dude", went and drew a new design, and executed the hell out of it. Dude has a light hand too--the tattoo, which was on my inner bicep, not such a nice spot, barely hurt.Overall, this is where you should get tattooed in New York. Read Less
