Walked in last week and was immediately greeted. I showed the gentleman what I wanted and where. It is a simple fingers crossed design. The guy said the minimum is $100 and cash only. There is a ATM right in the place so that convenient. I emailed the guy the design, he did his thing and called me over to come get the tattoo. I'm terribly sorry I didn't get his name, but the tattoo came out perfect and the lines were crisp. He chatted with me while getting the tattoo and he was funny. A couple of years ago I was visiting my sister in Brooklyn and decided to get a tattoo, a small very meaningful tattoo. I called the shop and was told Frank was in town and able to do it for me to head on down. I should have planned out better and maybe waited for the owner for the next time I was in town, but as a creative business owner myself I trusted the owner only had the best of the best in the business, as I was told.The tattoo is on my inner finger, when I told Frank I wanted very delicate, feminine lettering he told me it wasn't a problem. He quickly drew on with a marker and said "it will look something like this, but trust me it will be perfect and look a lot better than this."When he finished I almost cried. It was awful. Nothing like what I wanted. I asked him why it looked so thick and he said "it will tighten up over time."  You can see in the photos how uneven and horrible it looked immediately after it was finished. The numbers are not even in a straight line.I kept it clean and did everything they told me to do to let it properly heal. It was almost like my finger was rotting. (Pictures included)It looked horrendous. After sending photos to the shop owner I was told: "The tattoo is still healing Laura.  It will look much better once it's all settled.  I promise.  The lines will appear less blurred once the scabbing is gone." Wrong.Was also told:"The tattoo that frank gave you, once settled, will be a nice, legible, simple finger tattoo."Wrong.A friend of a friend back home that owns tattoo shops all over the country took a look when I returned and was shocked. He said he'd never seen anything that horribly blown out, and even said "man, I know that was painful as deep as he went" (coming from a guy with head to toe tattoos." Every time someone sees my tattoo they say "wow...where'd you get that, prison?" It is embarrassingly awful and was meant to help me remember the good part of my childhood as it is my street number from my house growing up. Now every time I look at it I want to cringe. "Is it 443? Is it 143?" There was never a time it looked good, ever.The removal will be very painful and expensive, not something I look forward to, but something that unfortunately needs to be done. Do your research on artists that specialize in finger tattoos. I am new to the area and did a lot of research on local shops. Being that I'm covered in tattoos from head to toe I just wanted a simple script letter tattooed on the side of my wrist. I'm a fanatic and had the exact font and size that I wanted. Most tattoo shops will make you pick a font or hand write something disgusting. Rose tattoo did the exact picture I showed them to the T. I walked in as a walk in and the place was busy af but they were so sweet and took me really fast for being a walk in. I am so pleased with my little script letter and will be 100% going back for some more ink! Read Less
