Mike's awesome. I got a tattoo from him roughly a year ago. I came in about 3:45 and there was two guys already waiting. It's first come first served when he's taking walk ins so I put my name on the board behind both of the guys I followed into the shop. The first guy was getting quite a bit done to his sleeve and I worked very early the next day so I quietly erased my name on the board and got up to leave. Totally unexpectedly Mike, who was mid-tattoo, noticed and asked what was up. I explained I had to work early and he offered to let me come in the next day and make an appointment before he started taking walk ins.Throughout the whole experience he was so nice and friendly. Was super efficient and I really really love my tattoo. I'm super grateful I stumbled across Mike on Instagram. I'll definitely be back.

I had a great time getting tattooed by Mike he is very efficient as well as personable. My tattoo healed up quickly and looks great. He has a beautiful shop as well with tons and tons of wicked flash.

Mike is the best around.Been coming here since I was a kid.Even back when he was on 20 ave.I was lucky to travel the world, So I have seen many other places.I have ink from him for more than 35+ years...

My husband and I have been getting tattooed by Michael Angel for several years now. My son had been asking to get a tattoo. He was ready to go to some new tattoo shop that opened a block away from were we live. (No way) The 1st tattoo and EVER tattoos should be great quality. Not some F%$# up tattoo. I took my son to Michael and my son is super happy with his tattoo. He's planning his next visit to the shop. Michael Angelo is an AMAZING tattoo artists. I'm always getting compliment on my tattoos. Everyone loves the quality and the rich colors of it. I HIGHLY recommend him, you won't be disappointed. He's open everyday Except Fridays and Tuesdays. Doors open at 4pm. No appointment it's by 1st come 1st service.

I can't stress the quality work that mike puts out. He's a genuine person that puts his soul into all his pieces. I wouldn't get tattooed anywhere else. He's a one man show, so get there Early and expect to wait a while for your turn, you won't be dissappointed. He's very reasonable and a great listener. A+++++++++++

I hesitated writing this review because Mike is already so damn popular---I will end up having to wait longer.If you want quality work at an amazing price--See Mike. He is probably the Ferrari designe...
I hesitated writing this review because Mike is already so damn popular---I will end up having to wait longer.If you want quality work at an amazing price--See Mike. He is probably the Ferrari designer of Tattoos. My experience? Felt daring and arrived at 7:30pm. The white board didn't have the marker in the marker holder but I snatched it from a close counter and put my name on the list anyway. Mike said it will be hard to get to me but he will try his best. 7-8-9-10-11-12-1-2-2;30----Thats how long I waited but man oh man....it was worth it. If you know him, you will know his laugh...cracks me up.If you want a Tattoo---call first, get there by 3 and wait....and you will get everything you imagined if not more. Cheers,.Did I mention his prices? WTF...I have never seen such good work at such low pricing. PS. I am brown-skinned and his ink-work is the best I ever hard....Dark and Daring

Michael Angelo is a true artist in his trade. This guy is a local legend. Arrive early and expect to wait all day for a classic no frills tattoo. Mike has tattooed me over 20 times and has also tattooed my whole entire family with no complaints from anyone. The quality is great and the ink lasts. Besides the amazing tattoo you'll also get to chat with a guy who is a genuine person and has plenty of stories to tell.GEPO.

No reviews for Michael Angelo? I'll bite, then.I got my first tattoo here a few years ago (a very, very simple shoulder piece). I would've never found the place had it not been for a buddy who knew somebody who knew somebody who knew somebody, etc.Some things you need to know about his place (things may or may not have changed since I've been here last):1) He operates it out of what was once a residential basement, completely renovated to be a studio (look for the neon sign).2) You sign your name on a white board. No appointments. First come, first served.3) He opens around 4pm. Sometimes. Other times, he doesn't open at all and you end up with a line on his porch.4) He's not the friendliest guy, but does good work.5) Won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Mike's awesome. I got a tattoo from him roughly a year ago. I came in about 3:45 and there was two guys already waiting.
