A truly professional and talented crew! I've gotten several tattoos done at Brooklyn Ink (shout out to Matt Huff!), and every visit has been great. There is a camaraderie among the staff that puts customers at ease, and although visits are fun and enjoyable, each artist takes his/her craft seriously -- and the tattoos show it. Alex is the only person I will have tattoo me. I love his style and creativity. I even have 3 original pieces of art by him and commissioned him to do a piece for my husband. Aside from Alex being an amazing person, the whole staff is Great! The store is beyond clean.... you could perform open heart surgery there! In June at 35 I got my first body piercing - my nose.  It was easy, fast and no real pain.  A week later I panicked because due to seasonal allergies my nose had some normal swelling the nose piercing starting sinking into my nose.I freaked and contacted Brooklyn Ink the eve of my engagement party.  I can't remember his name but on the website, he's the adorable one in the blue t-shirt.  He assured me there was nothing to be concerned about but said come back in in a few days if the nose piercing doesn't stop sinking. Honestly place was great I got a tattoo done here but when I went back with a friend so he could get something done there was only 2 females which I didn't recognize from my experience and both looked at my friend and I very weird and DECLINED his idea because it was his first tattoo which made the experience of the place a little less than what I had. I got my first tattoo here. Originally I wanted something the size of a quarter, and Chuck was very upfront on that it will disintegrate eventually over the years and not look good. I got a Rose the size of half of a dollar, it took 20 minutes, and wasn't nearly as painful as it could've been. He was honest, funny, and overall made the experience better. The minimum is 50$ and since it was Halloween they had tons of tattoos ranging from little as 31$, 66$, and I think 138$ that were fairly large and gorgeously designed. If I ever get another tattoo I'll be back.. Thank you!Some of these negative reviews.. Lighten up.. I came in on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Matt was my artist and he was exceptional. He listened to my ideas and added his own stylistic approach, which was excellent. The staff was very accommodating to every customer who walked in. The atmosphere was also very friendly. We also spoke about adding to an existing tattoo I got years ago, and Matt has already started kicking around ideas just one day after. I cannot wait to have my next piece done by them.
