Tattoo Seen was established in the 1980′s by Richard ‘Seen’ Mirando. Seen is one of the most well known graffiti artists in the world, often referred to as the Godfather of Graffiti. After its opening, Tattoo Seen quickly became one of the most successful studios in NYC. Today, over 20 years later, Tattoo Seen remains in it’s original location in the Bronx. Our artists specialize and enjoy all styles of tattoo. Appointments are recommended for custom tattoos but we have not strayed from our street shop roots and always make time for walk-in customers. We are open 7 days a week from 12-11. Come in and talk to Den, Mel, Prospect, or Maggie about your tattoo ideas!

A few weeks back I got a cover up done by Ivan. I first found him on Instagram and quickly became a fan of his work. I reached out and after several back and forth messages, I set up my appointment for that same weekend. From start to finish, it was a great experience. He listened to what I wanted while advising me based on his years of experience. In the end, I put my trust in him and the piece came out great! The shop itself is clean and organized - I have no regrets.

I got my nipples pierced at a different shop who basically had no clue what they were doing.They used the wrong jewlery on my nipples which caused one of the rings to sink into my nipple and disappear...
I got my nipples pierced at a different shop who basically had no clue what they were doing.They used the wrong jewlery on my nipples which caused one of the rings to sink into my nipple and disappear on one side.I came here and Karen fixed it for me .She re pierced them, used the right jewlery & helped me with all my questions.She was very helpful & nice & I am sooo thankful I came here.She saved my nipples !!! Lol Thank you.

I have been coming here for about 5 or 6 years now and I am completely dedicated to Peter. There have been times when I got impatient because he wasn't available and I went to somebody else and hated the work they did so now I will only go to him. Every time I tell him about an idea I have he draws something up and nails it the first time. I usually stick to black/gray but he did two in color that totally blew my mind so now I can't wait to go back and have him fill in the rest of mine in color. On top of that he has such a light touch which is crucial in some spots. Go to Peter! I guarantee your satisfaction.

Karen did my daughters piercing and took the time to explain everything and went above and beyond to help her. Very clean and professional and very well priced. Anywhere that would employee such a shadey, lying person talented or not shouldn't get your money. If pon is involved, I personally urge you to take your money and support someone who deserves it. Not someone who will step on anyone just to get their own selfish ends.

There have been times when I got impatient because he wasn't available and I went to somebody else and hated the work they did so now I will only go to him. Every time I tell him about an idea I have he draws something up and nails it the first time. I usually stick to black/gray but he did two in color that totally blew my mind so now I can't wait to go back and have him fill in the rest of mine in color.
