I just finished my quarter sleeve over here, thanks so much Rog! This place is so awesome because they are small you feel like one of the family they make sure first and foremost that you are comfortable and that you are happy. One of the main things about this place which will make me go back is thier work ethic. Rog worked on this piece for 9 hours straight the first day and took his time to make sure it was perfect and while I was there Ivan was working on someone else for just as long. No rush jobs and excellent work. Once this piece heals I'll let them take some pics hopefully they post them because it's an awesome job. Me and my sister got our navels pierced today and it was the best experience. The guy who did it talked us through it and was very knowledgeable. He helped calm us down (we were nervous lol). He was also very sanitized which is super important. Overall the best time. Read Less

A hygienic place, and calm atmosphere, good music and good ink !!! The owner and piercer billy ,is a very friendly person, always looking for the best way to please the customers and give a good deal. My artist Ivan Estevez known as Kamiartist, without a doubt my favorite artist I have ever gotten work done by !!! I am not lucky and never win anything but sure enough I won this raffle. I was a bit nervous since it was a shop I was unfamiliar with and an artist that I had never heard of. Six Gunz artist is Ivan Estevez known as The kamiartist. I checked out his work. Everything looked professional and well done as he also does portrai...ts. There were rules that came along with this win and it had to be an original piece created by the artist himself. I wanted a Catrina but I needed it to have emotion and I explained that to Ivan. He clearly understood what I was looking for and created some sketches for me to choose from. It wasn't difficult for me to pick one and in February the piece was done. Ivans work is exceptional and he's meticulous in all that he creates. The tattoo is amazing. I quickly made the decision that he would be the artist to continue working on my legs. It wasn't long before I was back at the shop getting another original piece. Ivan tattooed Ouroboros on the opposite side of the Catrina. Six gunz tattoo is a nice shop with a tremendous artist and a very cool owner. Looking at the photos its really hard to believe it's actually my leg. Went to Six Gunz as a recommendation from a friend who had gotten his tattoos done there. The minute I got walked in I felt like family. I definitely wasnt nervous to getting my tattoo or anything. They sat down with me and I explained what I wanted and we went through. The artist Ivan Estevez known as The kamiartist was great. The minute I met him I knew I would be going back for more tattoos. I explained that I've gotten tattoos before and they told me the level of pain I should expect, I have to say it was nothing compared to what I had imagined in my head. It seemed like it was quick and Ivan was really good with making sure I was comfortable and I wasn't in too much pain. I really liked this place at first but then realized how unprofessional they are.  My husband and i got tattoos from Jason who is a an excellent artist but he didn't listen to my husband one time and darkened up an area that my husband didn't want dark.  He tried to fix the problem the next time we came back and it worked a little.  Jason, the tattoo artist was fixing my husbands tattoo when a customer walked in. The customer walked out because Jason was busy. Jason said, out loud to Bill, that it was our fault that the customer walked out and if he wasn't working on the tattoo they would have been able to help the customer. Bill agreed with him.  We are customers as well, that made us feel very unimportant and like we don't count as customers.  Maybe if he would have listened the first time and not rushed, then we would not have been there and he could have helped the customer. That in itself was extremely rude.  The owner and his wife, his wife especially are also VERY unprofessional. My husband had complained that Jason messed up his tattoo and Bill, who got frustrated said "Everyone makes mistakes." That's not a good answer. Tattoos are forever. PAY ATTENTION to what the customer asks of you. We are paying YOU to perform a service for US! As for his wife, that woman is pathetic. My husband is an attractive man, by anyone's standards, and every time we went in there she (THE WIFE) would look at him like he was a piece of Steak and she hadn't eaten for years. She would do this with her husband standing right there. I felt bad for him but wondered if they are swingers with the way she was acting. My husband was very uncomfortable and it got to a point where she would speak to him and he'd ignore her. She did not like that. She had a very upset look on her face. HAHA!!!!! She stuck her butt out when my husband was trying to pass and he had to slide by to make sure not to bump into her. I didn't know this until after we left. My husband was very annoyed with her and we just decided to find a new place. Bill needs to keep his wife on a leash or give her some more loving because she is extremely disrespectful and obviously very horny. A little advice, YOU own a business, act like it. If you want to go after men open a damned bar or sex club. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. With the prices they charge you would think you'd get better customer service and not have to worry about peoples stupidity and unprofessional-ism. Read Less

I walked in for a helix piercing in March and it was done by Charlie. He went through what he was doing, and marked the area I wanted to be pierced on my ear. He did it and it was pierced at an odd angle but he said it looked better that way so you couldn't see the post from the side. After that, he went through how to clean it and that was it. The piercing was fine but after a few days a bump grew and I tried doing warm soaks on it as well as using tea tree oil. After a few months of it still not going away I just took out the piercing and didn't even bother going back to the shop. I went to Tuff City in Fordham for the same piercing as well as others recently and it's been a few weeks and they're healing perfectly with no bumps. Read Less

I'm super surprised this Tattoo shop was not already on yelp. I can't believe it because this place is fantastic. The people there that I've met today was superior because I was so afraid of getting my nose pierced and I swear if I didn't get it today I would do it all over again because they made me feel so comfortable that it is not even funny like I had my husband there with me and I still feel comfortable , even if he wasnt their I would of still felt very comfortable. they charge $30 for my nose ring and I got the cleaning products that came to about $41 Total. The price was Perfect. I don't know the owner name, but  oh my God I swear this place is fantastic I am so happy that I picked to get my nose piercing there I am so happy I would definitely definitely go back there if I need a tattoo or any other piercing because I can't believe how wonderful I was treated there . it's very clean very professional very very nice and please please give them a try because you would not waste your time and you will leave with a smile on your face very happy very pleased and extremely extremely extremely professional. Went to pierce my nose and was treated professionally and friendly. Was done in seconds and didn't hurt, that guy had magic fingers lol.
