No matter how much I enjoy the quality of the work that I saw from the female artist there I cannot forget the fact that I had two people bickering over who took my phone call and neither of them actually sitting there and allowing a clear conversation. I don't like tattoo shops where I have to go ahead and beg to speak to an artist because they're forcing you to put a deposit before you're even able to speak to that person on the phone. I will never come to this place again or recommend it to anyone. A friend told me about this place and said I could get my tattoo done the way I wanted it. It was done the way I liked it then came time to pay for the service. This guy (Letty I think his name was, some white guy ) charges me 350 for the tattoo!!! It was just bold lettering nothing really crazy. I understand tattoos are expensive but nothing can justify that price. Every other tattoo place I've been to said the same thing. I was getting my first tattoo and this guy saw me coming and took advantage. I will be making sure everyone knows about the robbers that work in this place and to stay clear of Twin Moon thieves. Horrible! Cindy never returns phone calls even after leaving a $100 deposit. I have been trying to meet with Cindy for over 6 months now and she never returns phone calls. I was told to come in and leave a deposit and she would be In touch with me in about a week or two. After three weeks I started to call to get the same answer every time. got my 2nd tattoo here could not be happier with the experience the artist are much friendlier here at twin moon creations than the shop I got my first tattoo at where the artist messed up two really small spots on it that I have to get it fixed sometime soon. I will diffenently be getting more tattoos here in the future the atmosphere is nice the tattoo arist are proffesional and friendly. the artist who did my tattoo arist is names shannon sadly left recently and I gotta ask if one of the other arist in the shop if they'd be willing to do touch ups on the tattoo she did. Iv'e heard many good thing over the years about this shop.Especialy since i was told it was run by The ""Legedary CIndy Ciarella"" anybody who knows anyold school Long Island/NY heads knows about Cindy as well as MarGuerite.From Peter Tat2 back in the day.the name always go hand in hand....Cindy is Pretty much an ALL FREE HAND ARTIST..and Rediculous Portrait forget KatvonD.though no disrespect she does got Skills.but hands down.Cindy Blows her away. Plus as a tattoo artist she has the Lightest touch.i ever experienced..and to my surprise her prices were Extremly reasonable.. Though she can take a bit to get back to you its definetlly worth the wait.... The Shop when i walked in Brought me back..it wasnt anything Fancy just a straight to business shop.. Sometimes parkings a little hard .but i found across the street by the bus stop and along Braddock Ave. along the Cross Island PkWay. their is 9 times out of 10 a .spot..you just gotta look around for a miinute . The stores around the shop say 1 hour parking but i never got a ticket..and asked the guys that work their and they said they've only seen 1 person get a ticket in alll the years they worked their......BUt that only on their block..the other blocks in front of the store fronts will call the police i know the liquor stor guy told me himself. The Besides Cindy They othe Artist are over all nice and honest..and ive see them recomend work they dont specialize in to other artist either in their store or other shops.,...they artist all seemed to have very clean work along with being sterile..and wrapping every damn thing from their cell phone armrests foot rest..checked the needle's with a loop to make sure it was'nt Fishhookedbent /an over all bad needle..and they general atmosphere was pretty damn family like....each artist charged thir own way..but generally it is allong the same gudlines...a buddy of mine had a a friend pass of cancer and wanted and had a poem that his friend wrote out in his own handwriting. granted his handwriting was garbage..but the rtist i think Ant or maybe joe or john...asked if he was sure that he wanted that writing.drew hime a quick scetch of something more artistcic an clean ..but..my buddy wanted his friends handwriting..for obvious sentimental reason...he got turned down by 5 or 6 shops already..i guess the other artists didnt want to ruin their ""EGO"" by doing a not so artistically great..peiceneedless to say my friend was super stoked and the tatoo was done very clean no blow outs clean lines etc....welll so that my ramble about TWIN MOON CREATIONS... they are good peoples...good artist.each has his own flavorbut everybody is capable of..and actually honest before just GRabbin your moneyand saying Peace,,i know it wasnt waht you wanted but...have a nice life.....So if you get a Chance Stop in If they are workin and dont happen to notice you come in ..just shout out somebody will come out and talk to you..prices are very reasonable and an over all friendly family vibe.... Ive been going to see Cindy (owner) for years, as have most of family and friends. She is a phenominal artist and her work is reknown.  Not taking anything away from squid, anthony and joclyn, but if ya want serious ink you wait for the appointment for Cindy.  Everything bit of the experience from the price, to the conversation to the orginal art is something not to miss. The owner of this shop is the most talented woman in the world of tattooing. Walk in and actually take the time to look at her portfolio, you will be blown away. NOBODY does it like it her. Just got my first tattoo from Squid at Twin Moon and it was a very pleasant experience. It's still under wraps, so I can't say how it will turn out, but it looked very nice when it was finished and Squid was a wonderful artist - he explained the process very well, gave excellent instructions, and made enjoyable conversation during the process. I left off one star because my tattoo was pretty simple, hardy took any time and there wasn't anyone else in the office, so I would have appreciated a discount of the $65 minimum- but that's just a minor quibble.
