My 3 adult children and I went in for our very first tattoos 2 weeks ago. My kids have been checking out different places over the past couple of years, I saw the review here suggested we take a look. On one of my frequent trips to Beacon my girl and I passed by the shop and shes covered in tats and decided she needed another one. Naturally I said, well cool, me too! And so I did!  It was fairly early evening on a Saturday and she got a feather on her hand and I got an elephant on my arm. Matt is amazing. I needed a fix on an old tat that wasn't symmetrical and he was happy to help me. I brought him the dumbest drawing (it's not my forte) of what I thought we could add on. He came up with the most gorgeous addition. My back is a work of art and I still get to keep my original tattoo just in a much better way. Price is very reasonable. He does quick and wonderful work. I was beginning to feel that my existence would be cursed with an endless wander on a world with sub-par bandaging. Thankfully, I have seen that this is not the case. Well me an my brother traveled all the way from Sullivan county looking for a great place to get our matching tats done. First went to Orange County, they were to busy or packed at the time. We decided to continue our journey to find a tat place. We researched n fount HONORABLE INK. When we arrived the staff was amazing. Honorable Ink is an amazing place. After making an appointment with Suzie I emailed her with how much I could spend and what I wanted (a butterfly with certain colors). I got an email back right away saying she was looking forward to working with me. When I got there she had a drawing ready to show me. After she stenciled it on my arm she did an amazing job tattooing it. She told me she enjoyed doing it and I am totally in love with it. It's stunning! Just got done with getting my Diabetes tattoo and I love it and it looks so much better then what the picture does. The whole staff is very friendly and amazing people. Prior to my appointment I was emailing the owner (Matt) back and forth and so I setup a appointment with Suzanne expect she had to call out since she had the flu and so they had no problems with pushing my appointment back 2 hour's later so that way Charlie can do it. After being quoted an outrageous price for a back piece by a shop in NYC I found this place by accident while looking for a shop close to home..I'm so glad I did! After looking at all of the artists profiles, I decided to go with Alex..his portraits were excellent! I have to say, this was the most fun I've ever had while being tattooed..the staff is amazing..they're all extremely talented..I had a blast listening to the conversations, jokes, sarcasm and constant insanity (I m...ean that in a good way) it made the time pass quickly while getting my tat done. I started the first week of September and the work was completed January 17th..pretty fast for an entire back piece!! I have to say I am ecstatic with the results!! Although I've never been inked by these guys their service is top notch. I took my sister into the shop as she had a daith piercing in her upper ear which was infected. One of the awesome artists helped us right away and removed the piercing within minutes. Thank you for going out of your way to help us! Got my first ever piece of ink done by Charlie. Nothing short of extraordinary. I came in (as a walk in) with somewhat of an idea of what I wanted done and he helped add that extra flare.
