Kathleen is amazing! I had hardly any brows due to overplucking when I was younger and untreated hypothyroidism which caused a great deal to fall out. I was always embarrassed that I had no brows, especially when others made jokes about my brows. Pencilling them in was a PAIN and took me up to 30-40 minutes a day to try and get them even. Thanks to microblading my brows look natural and it has saved me a great deal of frustration, time, and embarrassment. I got permanent eyeliner with Kathleen - dude, you do not want just anyone tattooing your eyelids. It came out sooo natural and exactly what we had talked about. Despite having never written a review, I feel inclined to do so now as I know how helpful reviews have been in guiding my decisions. And surely, permanent cosmetics are a big decision! My whole experience with Kathy and the results have been EXCELLENT. I've recently had my eyebrows done by Kathy and I am EXTREMELY pleased, more so than I'd anticipated actually. When exploring who to go to for this procedure, though there appeared to be several good options, I chose Colour... Cosmetic Studio because Kathy is an RN and I expected she would be very cautious about infection precautions and sterility. I was not disappointed. She was the utmost professional before, during, and after the procedure. She described everything well, answering all my questions thoroughly and quelling any uncertainties. I found Kathy to be pleasant, comforting, and easy to ask questions of. The office is lovely and clean; it has a spa flavor. Most importantly, and I did not fully realize this when I chose her, she is very, very skilled. Her application techniques resulted in my cosmetic brows looking real. I had no idea how much brows frame the face. I love them and have had a number of friend's ask for contact information about where I had them done. I highly recommend Kathy's services. I highly recommend Kathleen, you won't be disappointed! At 60+ my eyebrows were getting sparse and grey. I had started having them colored at the salon, but the result was not great, nor long lasting. My hairstylist recommended tattooing them – she had hers done at Colour Cosmetic Studio. I would have never guessed! Tattooing - on my face – yes, I was skeptical! Once I did a bit of internet research, checked the website and Kathleen’s impeccable credentials, I jumped in fe...et first! At my initial appointment, a consult, Kathleen did a brief medical history to avoid any unexpected complications, in my case, possible bleeding. Her nursing and surgical background is a plus! The office and treatment room are bright, clean and comfortable. Kathleen knows her stuff – she is artistic with an attention to detail and recognizes immediately what shape/colors will flatter your features, yet all along the way she is interested in your input and questions were welcome. When the day of my eyebrow appointment arrived I became nervous – what was I doing? Had I really thought this through? Would there be pain? Upon arrival, I was immediately put at ease by her warm and caring approach and because every attention to creating a sterile yet serene environment had been made.
