Been going here for a few years. AMAZING service and always come out looking better than I did going in. Sonia (owner) used to do my eyebrows but doesn't seem to come in as much lately. She was the half the reason I went. Beautiful charming and sweet. I wanted to ask her out but turns out she's married. Hope she sees this and maybe knows who I am. For ten years, I had the same esthetician in Chicago waxing my eyebrows. I loved her and every time I got my eyebrows done by her I felt fresh-faced and confident. When I moved to Santa Fe, I was worried I wouldn't find anyone as good as Dina from Chicago. For the first two years of moving here, I tried to maintain the shape of my eyebrows myself cause I was afraid someone else would give me a botched eyebrow job. I asked anyone I saw with great eyebrows where they got them done. Finally I pulled the trigger and went to an esthetician in town that came highly recommended. I gave here a fair shot, going to her 4 times, but every time, I didn't get that "fresh-faced" or "confident" feel that I always felt with Dina, so I stopped going to her and continued my search. In the meantime, I had let my eyebrows fully grow in, which was NOT pretty! I made sure my bangs were always long enough to cover my beastly brows. I had many recommendations to try Perfect Eyebrows, but I was reluctant to give threading a try. One day while, I decided to stop overthinking think it and walked into the salon and waited my turn to get threaded. AMAZING! The woman did a fantastic job and I left with that good feeling I always want to feel with I get my brows done. The price was cheap and my eyebrows look just as great as when Dina did them! I just received a wonderful haircut and blow dry today from Hairapist Steven Carnel. He did a terrific job salvaging a "not so great" past hair cut with the added bonus of suggesting what I could do in the future to move past a style no longer suited to my present hair condition. Gone here a few times for eyebrow tinting and there was always some slight problem with either the color or the time it took.  The last time I went, however, it took an entire hour for them to dye one and a half of my eyebrows PURPLE.  (Since I have red hair they tried to give it a reddish tint that just turned out purple), and the person managed to completely neglect dyeing the whole bottom half of one of my eyebrows. When I told her that it wasn't dyed she insisted that there wasn't enough hair on that half of only one of my eyebrows (???) until her higher up finally told her there was and that she just missed it.  When I asked the manager if she expected me to pay for my uneven purple eyebrows she just looked at them and laughed.  These people suck, too bad this is one of the only places in Santa Fe that actually does eyebrow tinting.  Total waste of time and money!!!! I have visited this location twice to get my eyebrows threaded. The first time was phenomenal.  This last time was not quite so nice.  She cleaned up my eyebrows but she also took off some of my skin. It was extemely painful and Ive had my eyebrows threaded for years.  She also asked me to look in the mirror before cleaning off my eyes (all of hair from the threading was on my eyes and then in them). I stopped into Perfect Brows once a few weeks ago and haven't been back. The wait time was very good, but I should have known it would be too good to be true. I sat down for a threading and the esthetician said, "You want them cleaned up?" I said yes please. I thought she was going to clean the brow product (pomade) off before she did the threading. She just went ahead and did it. Later when I got home I took it off. I redid my makeup the next day and noticed my brows were much thinner than I'd like. I've been letting them grow out again because I like a thicker brow. I had been growing them out previously for 16 weeks. Visiting perfect brows only set me back slightly. I'm very nervous to return, but if I do I definitely won't be wearing any product. I didn't know I was going to be whisked into a chair so quickly or I would have returned with a makeup free face. The shop is beautiful. Very clean and relaxing. The problem is the person doing nails. I've had many pedicures and manicure over years at various locations. Even I know polish will peel off if you don't clean the oil off. Next day went back and showed the owner my peeling polish. She redid the nails but I mentioned that there was no shaping of my nails. They were clipped and left all crooked.  I'm not sure she cared. During the appt,I had to request the tech trim my cuticles. Friendly, clean, pleasant salon. I loved my manicure, the woman who did my nails was very sweet, and she didn't judge my horrifying nails that hadn't been done in ages. My only complaint was that I had an 11:30 appointment and they didn't get to me until almost 11:45. Not that big a deal, but it did keep me from giving this experience five stars. Read Less
