DISCLAIMER!!!!!! This is for our south of the border family. We love that we get so much attention from clients south of the border as well as our brethren here in the states. BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE CONTACTING THE RIGHT GALLO NEGRO TATTOO STUDIO. There is one here in the states(our shop) and also one in Mexico that we have no affiliation to. Also this is going to sound a bit silly but most of us here in the shop are not fully bilingual most of us speak minimal amounts of spanish. I must be living right. How lucky to have found this rock-star tattoo artist, Beto. I had a design with a lot of detail in it, and he worked diligently to get the drawing perfect before transferring it to my skin. He had great advice about color, placement, and size. Part way into the process, I thought, "OMG. What am I doing? What if I don't like it, right here on my arm and impossible to ignore?" Well, my tattoo is better than I imagined! Detailed, clean, just perfect. Great written aftercare instructions, too. You won't be sorry if you come here!

This is the best tattoo experience I have ever had. I'm not a tattoo expert by any means, but over the years I've collected five or six of them from various artists in various shops around the US. This is by far my favorite.The shop is very nice, flexible hours, nice people working there, plenty of great art on the walls to inspire you. But what made this a stand out experience was Jazzy, the artist who did my tattoo. For a very reasonable price, Jazzy took my little concept drawing, listened to me closely while I explained where I was trying to go with it, then whipped up a design that was EXACTLY what I wanted, in her own beautiful style. Jazzy has a really soothing, laid back vibe to her that made me totally comfortable, and she has a very nice, light touch with the needle too. She gave me a really, really well done tattoo, that looked incredible right from day one.I had thought maybe I was gonna be done getting tattoos because, for me at least, the experience of finding an artist I like and am comfortable with, is often more trouble than its worth. Now I can't wait to get my next tattoo! Thank you Jazzy!!! I am SO happy with my Sweet Bee!

I came along with my wife when she got a tattoo from Jazzy last week. Didn't actually get one myself, but got a good experience of the shop. This is a top notch establishment and Jazzy was absolutely fantastic! Very professional and friendly! The shop was super clean and tidy. Everything was sanitized and wrapped in fresh saran wrap before she started. My wife got a really simple, small tattoo. But Jazzy's line work was superb! Very clean and sharp. I'll make the trek down to ABQ from CO to see her when I decide to get one.

Jazzy did my first tattoo ever. I was extremely nervous and she reassured me that I'd be fine with her calm demeanor. Her work was flawless (I got a Sun with very little detail). Even though my piece was very small and simple, she treated me with respect and did a beautiful job. I'll be back to see her for my next piece for sure! The other artist was not there at the time, but the shop was clean and both work areas were tidy.

My wife and I went in to get 2 medium size tattoos last week and I cannot be more happy!!! When we first walked in we were greeted by Jazmine she was very sweet and led us to Bedo (shop owner). We talked to him about the designs we wanted and he was very honest which I loved! He expressed to me he wouldn't sacrifice detail on a piece because I wanted it small I completely respected that of him. He drew up both pieces within 30 minutes and he completely brought everything I wanted to life. He then told us the prices of the pieces and it was very ideal. He proceeded to tattoo my wife first and then me. The detail in the work is amazing I have been getting endless compliments. I am so happy with the piece we will definitely be coming back!! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing people, amazing work! Jazzy was so sweet! We had memorial tattoos for my brother who recently passed. She was so empathetic. She had so much patience while we changed our ideas. She took her time and made sure we were happy with everything. She also has so much attention to detail. This is my third tattoo and by far my best experience. The shading is amazing and the letters are so clean! I love showing off my tattoo! 💙 I am so glad I came across this shop! I recommend it to everyone! 👍

Got my very first tattoo here about a year ago. I was so nervous and shakey. I originally wanted my tattoo to be 3 Armenian characters on my left side in a horizontal line. I forgot my tattoo artist's name, but he was very intimidating and insisted I'd get the characters to be vertical and slightly curved so that it fits the curve of my hip. Even though I thought he was being abrasive, he drew an amazing design and made me feel really comfortable while he was tattooing me. I had my sister and best friend there supporting me and the whole experience turned out to be great. Most importantly, I haven't stopped loving my tat and have gotten several compliments. If I were to get a second one, I'd probably come back.. my artist did an incredible job but I'm dying to experience the legendary Craig Jackman :)

My husband and I chose Gallo Negro for our small, anniversary tattoos because the artists came highly recommended by several close friends. I'm so glad we did. Justin was patient, kind and accommodating. My husband and I are both pretty new at be tattoo game, but were welcomed by the folks at Gallo Negro and made to feel at ease and very comfortable. I had a design with a lot of detail in it, and he worked diligently to get the drawing perfect before transferring it to my skin. He had great advice about color, placement, and size. Back in September, tattoo artist jazzy, did a melanie martinez inspired tattoo on me.. today I had the opportunity to show my idol, melanie martinez . She said who ever did my tattoo had some dope line work, and it was amazing , her words. So figured I'd post and let everyone know jazzy did a beautiful job and the studio is also very very clean, jazzy is the sweetest! Cool! And talented. Check her out!

Got my very first tattoo here about a year ago. I was so nervous and shakey. I originally wanted my tattoo to be 3 Armenian characters on my left side in a horizontal line. I forgot my tattoo artist's name, but he was very intimidating and insisted I'd get the characters to be vertical and slightly curved so that it fits the curve of my hip. Even though I thought he was being abrasive, he drew an amazing design and made me feel really comfortable while he was tattooing me. I had my sister and best friend there supporting me and the whole experience turned out to be great. Most importantly, I haven't stopped loving my tat and have gotten several compliments. If I were to get a second one, I'd probably come back.. my artist did an incredible job but I'm dying to experience the legendary Craig Jackman :)

My brother brought me to the shop for my first tattoo when I turned 18..after that I was hooked! The work is amazing, the shop is clean/professional, and there is nowhere else that I would even think about going for a tattoo! I highly recommend to go see Bedo and his crew for whatever tattoo you're considering!

My husband and I chose Gallo Negro for our small, anniversary tattoos because the artists came highly recommended by several close friends. I'm so glad we did. Justin was patient, kind and accommodating. My husband and I are both pretty new at be tattoo game, but were welcomed by the folks at Gallo Negro and made to feel at ease and very comfortable. Thanks so much, Justin! We'll be back!
